Welcome to my vlog about my life in Russia.
I'm not from Moscow or Saint Petersburg, I'm from Chelyabinsk. In this video, you will see our trip that we had in the end of April. We spent a nice sunny day in another city, visited a local history museum, had lunch in a 200-years-old mansion, visited Turgoyak lake and walked along the main street.

Даже больше: я в 2019 там два дня была, ещё и музей Ильменского заповедника захватила, а в этот раз мы в него не поехали.

A suggestion has occurred to me. In your commentary on the video, you often speak slowly -- slowly enough that you could provide the Russian words along with the English, and this would help those of us who want to learn Russian and might also attract more people to your channel. For example, you could add the Russian for the following phrases: * Turgoyak lake -- Озеро Тургояк * nice sunny day -- прекрасный солнечный день * history museum -- исторический музей * We walked along the main street -- Мы прогулялись по главной улице. I got the translations, above, from Yandex. I'm not suggesting that you turn your vlogs into a formal language class -- only that you casually mention the Russian translations for simple words and phrases.

I could never eat such a large lunch. I snack and still gain weight. On the rare occasions when I eat out, I order a veggie pizza or a veggie soy burger with coffee. Sometimes I also get onion rings. So we are very different! Still, I look for a way to connect and use the information in your videos to build peace. I am not so much interested in the sites as I am in the people. Your videos introduce me to at least two Russians: You and Dima!
