when I watch videos of exploring Russian cities all I see is cleanliness, good condition, peaceful, lovely people, good infrastructure, great architecture. This is the complete opposite of what I have been told about Russia. Russia looks incredible and I can't wait to go there

I'd recommend Anapa and Gelendzhik, two other great resort cities in Russia as well as Kislovodsk with its mineral and hot springs, and Astrakhan with fantastic fishing sites, the world centre of black caviar, melons and water melons. Cities of the Golden Ring are worthy of seeing too, with their medieval wooden architecture. I mean places like Uglich, Rostov Veliki, Suzdal and others. I do not know too many of assholes in Russia, not nearly as many as you can finds in the United Slums of America.

come on man, time to come back again ))) in 1991 our family lived in a school class at nights, i was selling plastic bags wich were not in USSR, my dad was a sailor and he was brining them from abroad, we earned more on plastic bags than was his salary. We were having a bath in local city-sauna while mom was staying in a queue with a food voucher )) Such was the time...no it completely different )

Everything has changed so amazingly, it is unbelievable.

I love Russia and the russian people. I spent 6 years of my young life going to school at the former Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, now renamed St.Petersburg Technical University. That was almost 30 years ago and I just can't wait to go back to visit.

Sochi is picturesque, with a mild climate,, magnificent architecture , finest hotels, beautiful villas, scenic landscapes, interesting geographical features ,clean , neat, safe and amazing. The excellent infrastructure upgraded during the winter Olympics , Russia has hosted in 2014 , makes it even more finer. No wonder many Russians want to have a home here and international tourists enjoy it to their fullest. Sochi looks so delightful and charming to visit. Love Sochi. Love Russia.

I will visit Sochi. It's a beautiful city, not over run with cars and tourists yet. I think Russia has been really transformed the last 30 years. Thank you for posting such beautiful images of Russia.

I have been to Sochi - Adler - Krasnaya Polyana 2 times (2017 and 2018) and I really enjoyed it. People were kind and the atmosphere during the FIFA World Cup was amazing. The facilities worked at top level -sport facilities, roads, train services, shops open till very late and it was very safe in the streets... Some times it seemed slightly overcrowded, but it was natural for an international massive event. The beaches are not the best in the world, but enough good for the Black Sea.... A Jeep excursion to the Adygea mountains is very advisible and a visit to the Krasnaya-Polyana Mountain Olympic Facilities is just mandatory. The resort is worthy to visit!

I live in Sochi for 5 years and I am sure that it is one of the best cities in the WORLD!!!

Sochi is NOT the only warm city in Russia. It's a stereotype that entire Russia is cold county. The entire south west of Russia enjoys pretty mild weather. And there is also the entire Crimea.

I grew up in Russia and I can say that Moscow and St Petersburg are truly amazing, but the sad truth is, these are the only good looking Russian cities. The rest of Russia is a pile of shit. Visit Omsk, Ufa, Chelyabinsk of other not touristic cities and see how real Russia looks like.

@@eotlati1763 it's only getting worse, because Russian government is corrupted af, and instead of developing cities and make them attractive, they're stealing money and buying property in Europe. Cmon, Russia has so much gas, oil, and other natural resources, and with good management, every Russian city could look like Dubai, Singapore, or LA. But instead, we have cities like Norilsk or Magnitogorsk, that look like fucking industrial wasteland, and the average salary there is about 500 USD a month.

The country’s standards of living have improved, infrastructure is being created and with the sanctions, is becoming more self sufficient. The greatest asset is the people, then natural resources. The greatest hindrance is corruption and patterns of the past. Love the country and the people.

Sochi is a beautiful place to visit I've been there 3 times and was surprised of the nature the parks the restaurants the city and real good looking people. Sochi is also a safe place and the people are very nice. I wanna go back soon and visit my in laws and family. It's different from here it's fresh air and really beautiful landscape and the tunnels threw mountains make it unique.

It's not historically russian in case you didn't know. It belonged to Georgia's kingdom for 10 centuries , and was only taken by russia in 1829 after defeating turkey.

Russia is a beautiful country, I'm proud that I'm working with them in iraq, my boss is from Kazan city, and he is really nice man. I wish that I could visit Russia and Sochi one day

I think it is wrong to say sochi olympics is the most expensive in the history, this man failed to take into account the $52 billion was not for only stadiums and other sport field but also costs for the tunnels, roads, bridges and new rail infrastructures. Asserting that is the most expensive olympics in history show this man is not being reasonable, he just regurgitating MSM narrative. He should go to Greece and London and see if there is any olympics legacy. But here in Sochi the city is transformed into world class sea resort, every where is looking beautiful and world class train station . The $52 billion is well spent. If it were in the west it will cost more.

Comparing London to Greece just shows your ignorance as London is clearly recognised as having the best legacy yet. It is also clear that you have never been to Adler where the Olympic Park is.

There are other places with sand beaches. Anapa for example, which is 330 km from Sochi. Sochi is NOT the only warm city in Russia, unlike what this video is saying.

Disclaimer. If you ever happen to visit Russia you'll love it till the end of you life. There's no way back. So think twice. And jump in)

I’ve been here. It’s very hot. The only disadvantage is rocks on the beach. I had to buy special boots for swimming. But the water is very clean

@@MrEtovam Miami is much-much more warmer and warm plus/minus all year, when winter is come in Sochi it's about 2-10(with rare exceptions) degrees of heat(Celsius), or even colder

To be honest I have always thought of Russia as a cold, depressing and hard place. However after seing videos about moscow, vladivostok, Caucasus and now Sochi I am definately going to visit the country 😍 . Damn Sochi is beautiful. I never imagened Russia having palm trees lol

@Troll Not I hope they make it to Russia too and have a better life, it's not right what the whites in South Africa have to put up with, if I was Putin I would warn them to stop their racist attacks against white people or face a Russian invasion, and I would invade, I would have Russian naval ships off the coast of South Africa within two weeks.

Everybody knows America is the only true super power on earth. Even China isn’t even close. Their GDP is barely over half of ours.. America pretty much rules the world. We have military bases in over 90 countries. The only reason anybody even respect Russia at all is because they have nukes.

Suman, I have no idea what you are talking about. Americans are too involved in their own personal lives trying to raise their own families and make a modest living. Plus, many Americans could not even locate Russia on a world map sadly enough and I am quite sure most Americans never even heard of Sochi.
