SOCHI RUSSIA | That Warm City on the South
Definitely a MUST VISIT place in Russia!
Where is Sochi - the city is situated along the Black Sea in Southern Russia, near the border with Abkhazia/Georgia. Sochi is Russia’s only subtropical resort city located in Krasnodar krai, 1,620 km south of Moscow (around 2,5 hours flight from Moscow). Sochi is informally referred to as the summer, the southern and resort “capital” of Russia.
Winter Olympic games of 2014 were held in Sochi. We will visit the Olympic Park that was constructed for the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Paralympics. Located in the Adlersky City District of Sochi.
And go to the mountains in Rosa Khutor - a unique all-the-year-round mountain-climatic resort of world class with cable ways and different entertainments.
...and we will visit Abkhazia, which is located only 2,5km from Sochi! :)

It's not without a reason that most of Slavic people call it "Mother Russia". When i was a child Russia was my favourite foreign country, now in my 40's and those feelings are coming back. Love from Bosnia/Montenegro/Serbia.

Sochi is so gorgeous and it's for snowbirds to travel to in the winter. Guess it's like Florida or Southern California or even Cancun for us here in the U.S.

I loved your video of Sochi and Abkhazia. I have been to Russia over 17 times and have even lived in Moscow for 7 months, but I really love Sochi as I have friends who live there. Sochi and the surrounding area is definitely top of my list when I visit Russia.

This place is bomb Sochi Russia !!! semi tropical and alpine all in one those aqua color lakes reminds me a trip I had decades ago in Canada and the water too is a turquoise color I felt like in another planet .

Great vlog as always! A must is the russian riviera. Next a rail journey, trans Siberian yes please. But also the one you took from north to south in the same state. Russia is almost 50% of the world from east to west. From Japan to Norway. That is insane! Keep up the good work! Be safe!

I am planning on visiting Russia as soon as they open the boarders to Americans. I met a woman from Moscow so that’s where I’ll start my visit. In the mean time I’m learning Russian language.

We've been considering moving to Sochi to retire, but no attempt yet.
