12 DIY PROJECTS REPURPOSING A BROKEN CHAIR
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I disassemble a broken chair that was given to me and use the parts (and other things that I have on hand) to create 12 other home decor items. These items include a rolling plant stand, a breakfast tray/riser, cane wrapped candles and wall art, a hanging frame, hanging vases, a spindle chandelier, a mug rack, a spindle mirror, a cutting board stand, a footstool, and a small wood tote. Although some of these projects require power tools, some of them are quite simple.

Yes, my Walmart is also phasing out the Waverly line. 😢 I've used one of the replacement line in a gold metallic. I didn't like the coverage until I primed the piece and then reapplied the gold.

Dear Sherry, your videos are absolutely addictive. Love to watch you work & I learn so many techniques I would never have tried. Thanks to you I am not afraid to be even more creative.
I loved them all, I just wish there was a montage at the end showing all the projects one more time. I just didn't get enough of a look at them all. Thoreau would love this, he only had 3 chairs in his house one for him, one for a friend and one for society, and a quote from him was "I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion."
You must be one busy girl from Tuesday to Tuesday! It amazes me how many projects you squeeze into a video. Great job!

I get so excited when I see your new video's appear each Tuesday morning. I make myself a cup of tea, turn off my cell phone, and have 20 minutes of uninterrupted me time. I'm completely remodeling a cottage built in 1880, and you have provided me with such inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and creativity.

I live in a cottage house originally built in the 1930s in Seattle. I inherited it from my dad. My dad totally remodeled it, but he did that back in the 60's. I only have a few grounded 3 prong outlets and that can be very frustrating. He didn't put even one electric outlet in either of the bathrooms. I don't envy you. Good luck with your remodeling. I do hope you are able to make it the home of your dreams.

This video came in so handy for me! I recently moved into a home that the previous owner had to leave when she went into a care facility. We closed quickly so her children did leave some things behind. I have 12 wooden mismatched chairs in my tiny home! You have stirred my creative juices! My cats could use a cute tree! I just discovered your channel via your video of repurposing a broken chair! I am amazed at your creativity and ability to use every part of the chair in some way or another. I just got 4 old chairs from a curb, and was wondering what to do with them as I don't need any more chairs! They aren't too sturdy, so I think repurposing the pieces is the best idea! I'm glad to see someone who is closer to my age repurposing and using power tools! While the young gals are also creative, I like seeing somebody I can relate to! I've been a crafter/creator my whole life, but you KZreadRS leave me amazed! Thank you for sharing your talents!

You are so creative. My mother passed a year ago (97 yo so not unexpected) and we are still in the process of cleaning out her house. She had so many thrifted items she had bought and had wanted to repurpose. Every time I find something broken of hers that I can see potential in my hubby just starts rolling his eyes. You have helped me envision so many great projects from her junk. Now if we ever get the house done I can work on the projects.

Woe! That was so much fun to watch. I am looking around my house thinking..."hmmm what can I take apart and repurpose?". I love everything you did...but I am now in search of an old magazine rack to make a cute little breakfast tray! Thanks so much for sharing.

Finally a DIYer that is putting out unique (may I add.... ingenious) DIY's that do not utilize Dollar Tree items. Don't get me wrong... I appreciate ALL youtube tutorials but I can only display so many of the same jute rope, popsicle stick and jenga block projects in my house lol 😆 My cat thinks I made him 50 different types of scratching posts with all the jute roped decor I've made 😄 Plus!!! I don't know about anyone else, but when I go to Dollar Tree, I walk out of there with 75 items when I only went in to buy 3 !!! 😆 🤣 😂

You are so amazing, thank you so much for the videos, it is very comforting to hear your voice love to watch , Jesus loves you !
Wow!! What a brilliant use of the chair and spindles, I love every single one of your projects. Girl, you're brave trying to cut those spindles in half, I was cringing as I watched. Well done with your challenge! I think that your knocked it outta the park, Sherry. Also wanted to give you a tip with the starbond, when using the spray excelerator, place the glue on one side and then spray the area that you'll be placing the glued item to, this will help with the immediate hold.
