Spartan highlights from #10 MSU's 31-21 victory against #12 Pittsburgh in the Peach Bowl. The Spartans overcame an 11 point deficit entering the 4th quarter and scored the game's final 21 points. The Spartans were led on offense by 2 spectacular Jayden Reed touchdown receptions and a career high 354 yards passing by Payton Thorne. Cal Haladay sealed the win for MSU with a pick 6 in the final minute of the game.

What a great 4 th quarter by the Spartans and in particular Peyton Thorne, who hung tough after a difficult mid game to lead Sparty on to a great comeback win!
I saw 2 Fun Facts about this win 1st: Michigan State is The Only Team This Season To Beat 2 Conference Champions (Almost 3 if Western Kentucky won CUSA) 2nd: Michigan State is the First Team in Bowl History to be trailing by Double Digits to start the 4th Quarter to comeback and Win in Double Digits

@@christian_user23 1) Your (Michigan) defense could not stop 5 rushing touchdowns and gave up a 17 point lead- don't blame the refs, blame your shitty ass coach. And we were playing against Pitt without our best players too. 2) That's not "cap", that's actual fact. No other team has done that in NCAA football history.

Payton Thorne turns into Joe Montana when the team needs a score late in the 4th quarter, watching him orchestrate back to back td drives to take the lead was special to watch live, big love to Cal Haladay also

I think Payton Thorne has the absolute best footwork I've ever seen from an MSU QB since maybe Drew Stanton

The kick especially! With about 20 seconds left and Pitt needing ten points to even tie, it was almost certainly OVER, but Tuck went for the short kick knowing Pitt would never suspect it.
I really hope reed and nailor stay. Them with gates jr and mosley who has looked great when called to play.

They won't see any meaningful minutes. It's great to have atheltes like that to practice against, but there's a reason neither was a high level basketball recruit. Pierre Brooks only gets occasionally gets meaningful minutes, and he was a high 4 star. It's super unlikely two unranked players do anything meaningful for our team this year
