With so many amazing moments last season, this one I feel gets over shadowed. Geiger struggled all season making FGs and for him to go into the Horseshoe and kick the game winning FG is simply incredible.

Interesting to hear that this defense had trouble getting off the field on 3rd down as well. Hopefully, that bodes well for this year's game and they can rise to the occasion

Jacob Haire Yeah But I think Mark Dantonio was at least partly to blame for MSU’s bad couple of seasons.Mark Dantonio definitely was a good coach for Michigan state but after 2015 he couldn’t adapt to college football and was stuck in the old fashion way of doing things.Btw assume you’re an Osu fan you should at least call Michigan a bigger embarrassment as they won’t admit when their doing terrible.

Will never forget this, i was at the pistons game and they showed msu kicking the field goal in slow motion and everyone went crazy

Need to play this way Saturday

I remember watching this game, and praying for the miracle. Now, seven years later, everyone from those legendary early 2010s teams are gone. Including Coach D. Tuck is balling out so far. But he needs his own miracle win. God answered in 2015. Here's hoping he answers in 2022!

There is some (maybe small) “advantage” for MSU in this game because of Cook being gone, the same way OSU had a hidden advantage against Wisconsin, Alabama, and Oregon the previous year when Barrett was injured and Jones was QB. The other team has no film of the “new” guy to watch.

No, what did Dantonio in was his 2016 recruiting class imploding and leaving the program, either kicked out (Corley, King, Vance, and Robertson biggest names to leave) or voluntarily leaving. MSU football never recovered from it under Dantonio.

This game above any other broke my heart. The ‘15 team had everybody back. Then u lose to MSU at home against their backup QB. Sparty came to play and deserved to win this game. Ohio State came out and laid a egg. Sparty had a answer for everything the Bucks did. Their backup QB showed tremendous heart and will. No excuses here my boys got their nose rubbed in dog crap in our own backyard.

The play calling from urban this game was very Conservative. Should’ve let Barrett air it out to those future nfl stars. Should’ve involved zeke in the passing game more too

The notorious Zeke Elliott 11 rush/monsoon game. Meyer’s worst coaching job…really goes for the season generally. Great win for MSU but a big disappointment for college football fans that the most talented team in the country blew its shot at defending its national title. Still should’ve probably been in the final four and I think the Committee knew it too, in fact felt it so keenly that they treated next year‘s Buckeye team like it was the same bunch, which it most assuredly was NOT! THIS, not 2016, was the season they should’ve put in a non-champ.

OSU recruits way better than MSU and yet in most years they struggle against MSU. 2 potential national championships lost because MSU on their own prevented OSU from advancing to the playoffs. So I can see where the salt is coming from.

Almost every single play was an option, QB sneak, or counter with elliot. Very dumb, and predictable. They didn't pass, barely any runs up the gut, hell, the OSU fans were booing during the game because of how ridiculous it was. Once we put our OC back up in the box, we all saw how the next 2 games went, overkill against a good UM team who was the better team against you too but you had the biggest miracle play of all time. You lost to Nebraska, shouldn't have beaten UM and definitely not Ohio state, who played terribly. The better team (Ohio state) will win this year though, I can GUARANTEE that. Meyer has NEVER lost a rematch game. And who the hell are you? Ohio state has exactly double the amount of wins in the series against MSU (28-14) and you'll always be UM's little brother. Ohio state's and Michigan's highlights are winning championships, yours are actually beating a team better than them for once, (and then losing 38-0 in the next game to a really good team who played at their full potential, unlike OSU)

Game would have been a complete "non-factor" had those lucky fuckers "MSU" not had that miracle play vs Michigan. That one goofy play doomed the B10 for the playoff and really, the entire bowl season.
