Thanks, very much enjoyed the video. I am an old guy with many decades of 60’s era muscle car and Cummins diesel performance build experience. I’m actually having fun with modding/driving my new 11th Gen Si, even given the car’s performance limitations. Just a suggestion for increasing subs….I’m only speculating, but there are likely more Si owners than all the other platforms on your channel combined. Subscribed.

I was wondering if this is a Acura body shop or private garage. I like the jobs you guys have done it is very detail and carefully. I hope I can bring my car to your garage to have you install
You really need to get a tune. Thats where the power is and its pretty cheap. Flex fuel is also great but u may need a clutch and headstuds
I'm almost 3/4's of the way through this but have a Remark exhaust. Still need DP, FP and intercooler. Don't know why you did all this and didn't get the HVI with cold air. If you use the HVI with the cold air attachment I recommend removing the foglight cover on the drivers side and putting some mesh in there to avoid debris.

I have that same lip on my civic. I just threw in a couple of self tappers in cause it was very loose fitting. Now, whether or not the customer wants holes on the bottom of his bumper is a different story.
Is there any burbles with that exhaust? Didn’t really hear any between shifts.
The downpipe looked easy asf to do 😮

can you put that with CVT 1.5 turbo charge ?
Would love to load up my Type S with PRL goods but everything is out of stock and since they don't respond to social media messages I have no idea if/when anything is coming back in stock.
There should be little indents on the lip where you screw into that goes through the lip into the bumper. I have the same lip never had any issues

I drilled through and used nuts/bolts and washers, mine too solid as a rock.

Do any or all of these mods void the factory warranty?
You can do all those mods with no tune? Seems kind of sketchy to me. He would probably gain another 40-50 whp with a tune and it would probably be safer to drive.

In South Africa this Honda is called a Civic RS, same spec except we only get the CVT transmission, can these mods be done to the CVT as well?

Usually manufacturers will rate at the crank. These guys are measuring at the wheels. Any vehicle you can expect anywhere from a 10%-20% drivetrain loss. Honda's are usually like 15% loss through the manual transmission. So if it were rated like production vehicles it would be rated at about 250hp.

Custome E Tune makes this with bolt ons easily 240-250whp Ik many ppl on E running 270-280whp stock turbo nd clutch but I personally wouldnt chance it until I replace a few components that are weak

You are correct. Gotta get all of the right pieces together like clutch and such first
The hot air intake (Sri) could be why you are not getting that 225hp
You forgot to use 3m tape with the lip.
You're supposed to put double-sided tape on that lip along with the stock clips.
When are we gonna see a Civic Si 9gen on the channel
Don't understand why people go with the single when the car comes with dual and it looks cooler, but good job with the upgrades

Block out exhaust cover are under Civic Ex Trim ( compatible for Si if you are planning to do aftermarket single exhaust then you can use this blockout cover for the sides you want by following part number below . P/N Left : 71591-T20-A00 P/N Right : 71541-T20-A00

Honda should have kept the Civic at 2.0L. With this turbo and bolt ons it would have easily reached 240-5hp. The perfect balance for this car. But we know Honda doesn’t care about power unfortunately..
I’m just a Subaru guy here, and you know used to looking at the car funny without a tune and it blows up….. but with all that flow change (exhaust/intake) wouldn’t you need a tune? Or is Honda doing some wizardry with some self adjusting tuning? Haha

It does, since the free flowing intake and exhaust will alter the afr. In my G70 3.3tt, I installed intakes and full exhaust it went in limp mode I needed a tune afterwards.

No tune for the way PRL designed the intake and inlet pipe , dp is no tune as well and won’t throw a CEL but granted your not getting much gains no tune
Thousands of dollars on modifications on a SI, should’ve just put that towards a FL5 or even a fk8 stock would’ve been better than a FBO 10th/11th gen SI

You guys been taking off precaution on the lip next time add some fasteners drill a couple screws centre ends. The lip is fine. It’s not that bad I would buy because I saw somebody else. Did a better job than you guys and it still works for them.
God I wish we could get the civic si in australia. Honda here sucks so much.

No, the TSP high efficiency downpipe has a GESI catalytic converter. You can run it in CA without a problem.
Why can’t Honda great rid of the sunroof and give a digital dash

The car looks better without extra lips and skirts tacked on to existing lips and skirts.
No point in bolt-ons on 1.5 civic if there is no tune. For the amount of money spent on inlet pipe, intake, downpipe and no tune..... its simply not worth it.
Lip was hideous. Sure there’s better ones out there. Nice car tho

Geeez. My k24 makes 260 whp all motor and my RSX weighs less than this pig. New SI’s are weak. Stock k20z1 can do that power with bolt ons and a tune.

1.5L has weaker, smaller internals. Just stick with the K20C1. At the end of the day you’re going to buy one anyways. Just save your money.
