    You should wire your 350z washer fluid low level sensor into your tire cooler water tank

    Bought my Z over 2 years ago to get into drifting from watching these videos. Low hp 100mph skids, always wanted to hit a road course that fast. Sad Taylor no longer has it, I took mine from bone stock to big angle and full suspension now, from daily driver to a weapon. Maybe not the most competitive chassis but seat time CHAMP.

    You should get a water level sensor (if you care), so you don't have to think how much water is in the tank. It shouldn't be difficult to rig something from some car (a sensor from some car and an LED in the dash perhaps).

  • @sharpekenny

    @sharpekenny

    6 жыл бұрын

    Alberto Hecher , you can use the wires off whatever vehicle you're applying it to that had the sensor on it for the windshield washer fluid and adapt it to that I mean it's not that hard basically all you're doing is using the windshield washer system to spray water on your tires this is nothing new the Australian just been using crap like this to spray gasoline on their tires to do fire burnouts

    so sick! i noticed you mentioned flat spotting the tires from the handbrake, one way around this i have found is to use the foot brake to maintain entry angle instead of the handbrake. initiate with the handbrakee but let the car do a 4 wheel slide almost with no power. shit you can even just turn and mash the brakes at these higher speeds to initiate which is even more crazy! lol its actually pretty fun and wears the tires a bit more evenly because theres no pinpoint slide. i wanna see a video of you trying all kinds of crazy techniques, not just successful drifts even tho those are hella dope too!!

    Dude why don't you let off when you hear the cords coming out of the tyres? Seems daft to bash up your rims and have to limp it the rest of the way round. And then there's the other damage you have done with everything getting caught up in the wires, cv boot and hydro lines ect. The throttle problem could be that there's a speed or abs sensor thats been damaged around there that's putting the car into safe mode and cutting your throttle. Sick driving btw and I do love the vids. It's just the pointless destruction of a nice new set of wheels that bothered me here.

    I’m not an expert on tires here but am just thinking out loud. I feel like spraying your tires could possibly shorten the life. With that much hear created from a drift and then soaking your tires in much lower temperatured water may cause a sort of dry rotting/shrinkage in your beads causing them to blow faster

  • @pascha4527
    @pascha45276 жыл бұрын

    Hey Taylor, people say you should wire a low level sensor, but i'm suggesting you wire it to a relay too! So it is going to auto shut off. I can make you a wiring diagram if you want, just message me. Everyone thumb up so he see. (hope I can be understood, I'm not born with the english language.) And good drift, very good!

    To get a more controlled test, maybe do a series of brake stands/burnouts. Each lasting say 10 seconds. One round with water, one without, measure tread wear before and after. Change tires in between. That would be the only way I can think to control the variables.

    You should get a different switch for the water sprayer so it can be on the whole time while drifting that would save a lot more on the tires, but then you would need a much bigger water tank. Like one of those big wash buckets? And put a fuel gauge thingy in it to show when you're running low on water, hook it up to a little LED bulb in the dash.

    That white smoke is your theaths burning up. So it would be best to constantly spray them with a bit of water. Window wash sprayes too much for constant use. I think about intercooler spray or those water meth kits would be better to spray mist on the tire to keep it from overheating. Less smoke for more tire life. Just my 2 cents
