Out of all these videos I’ve been watching of horrible makeup artists, I think this is the best one. It actually turned out pretty good. I was horrified when I first saw that yellow foundation but it blended out pretty well.

Im really surprised it turned out as good as it did when I seen the foundation but she made it work. With a bit more schooling she would be very good!

Honestly the eyeshadow is really pretty, I think this girl needs more practice doing base but over all she isn't awful. She has potential

@@izabella9931 The makeup artist applied mascara and eyeliner straight from the tube, which means that there is no way he has sterilised the tools. When we use eye makeup that others has used, we can get infected, a red eye and/or more. The eye area is so sensitive, so it can react to bacteria much faster than (as an example) your cheeks. We could also see that the brushes were not properly washed, so there will be a bacteria build up from the left over product which can cause acne, skin irritation etc.

The way she went in the middle of the brows just hurts🥲

For me this is actually good for only training 2 weeks.

Bc if you are going to contour the base foundation can’t be the same color as your skin color. It has to be two to three times litter. That’s how I do it on myself.

As a makeup artist in America, I was taught in school never to include lashes in the base price. If you bring your own I charge 7$ for me to do a double glue instillation and if you want to buy them off of me I charge 27$. But honestly that just covers the price of the Mac lashes I keep in the kit so I’m for sure not going to include that with the price of my time and a full face. This is a really common thing when artists here do larger events like weddings or prom so that didn’t seem weird to me at all.

It wasn’t terrible. The foundation color had me a little worried 😂 She will get better with practice. She knows most of the basics.

You’ve got to be kidding??? The foundation was completely the wrong color and it was too thick and heavy, as though she was applying ‘drag Queen’ makeup. Why do so many of these so-called makeup artists have no clue about how to apply foundation? Less is more, a small amount which which you then ‘blend’ across the face rather than painting it on in one thick coat which leaves you nowhere to go and ends up looking caked on and unnatural!

The world is made up by feedback. Her work was not that bad (idk if it was expansive or not). She's actually doing her best and it is good that se can actually have people to makeup and do more, cuz that's how we get better: training. Be proud of your job, cuz even if it's not the best one in the world, it's your best.

To be fair, the eyeshadow, and brows weren’t terrible, she just needs to learn how to color match foundation, or ask customers to bring their own so their aren’t any problems. With more practice she could really have something

@@peachy.915 yes, especially becuase this is Nigeria, many of the women unfortunately bleach their skin to try and have a lighter appearance. I'm Nigerian and many of my aunts I believe have done this

You saying "any normal" person can do makeup like that is something that only weak minded would believe. Stop assuming before knowing the truth. I as a female could confirm this. I myself can't even do makeup. I only use foundation, and cherry red lip stick between my lips.
