It was in MK9 where Quan Chi reached his peak as a villainous character in the MK saga, and it was also where he became my favorite character, the manipulation with Scorpion to kill Bi-Han, resurrecting Bi-Han as Noob Saibot, the incredible Sindel's resurrection scene in the desert dissolving Earthrealm's protection, the creation of the Soulnado in the cemetery in chapter 14 with the souls of civilians, and using the souls of warriors to create the Revenants, and the shock of knowing that all these feats were for Shinnok's benefit and that the sorcerer was toying with Shao Kahn the whole time, Quan Chi is almost like the true protagonist of MK9's story prevailing in the end, all these feats in Quan Chi's scenes with beautiful special effects of his magic in action, really, the emerald green color of Quan Chi's magic stands out very well in his spells, producers took great care to highlight the color in scenes

Yes I've been a fie hard quan chi fan since mk4 mk9 showed how absolutely busted he could truly be he's never lost to Shang tsung either wish he got the credit he deserved 👏

I should let you know, Quan Chi’s abilities and his intellect, while cool, are major plot holes and continuity issues. A lot of stuff he does in MK9 are achievements he stole from other characters. Sindel’s resurrection was carried by Shang Tsung as a part of Shao Kahn’s backup plan in the Original Timeline. The reason I’m bringing this up is because this is supposed to be the same universe with events being altered by the visions Raiden received by his future self. Quan Chi wasn’t even a necromancer, that’s why he needed to work with Shang Tsung in Deadly Alliance. He was also kinda an idiot. Just look up Scorpion and Sub-Zero’s endings in MK4. Shang Tsung was the master manipulator and I think it suits him more. I do love this iteration of Quan Chi but it doesn’t make sense continuity wise and it ruins Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn as well.

Of course the lore is one of my favorite parts about mk story is an important part of Mk im glad you enjoyed the video!

It sounds like you didn't have a script I think you should write a script especially if it's videos like this it will help you with the stuttering and keep you on track so your video seems more focused it might be hard to write one at first but the more you write the easier it gets you got my like and subscription

@@AtrioxPrime If they were capable of writing ✍️ a GOOD story they would be able to blend everything together into an established lore WITHOUT having to change everything. They change character choices to fit the narrative. They need to change the narrative, but have the characters respond accordingly. For example they wanted to support the LGBTQ+ Community by making Tanya a lesbian and in love with Mileena. But they got rid of her treacherous personality and made her an elite guard and super dutiful and serving. They could have used her lesbianism as a character motivation to STILL be treacherous. Like I would've had her ACTUALLY in charge of protecting King Jarod and when he was murdered have her blame everything on Lei Mei. Have her treacherous to the throne, but everything she does is motivated by her love for Mileena. She wants Mileena in charge so she can be her queen and ALSO gain power; something Tanya has ALWAYS desired. She should be putting on an act; while secretly betraying the Royal Family, playing both sides, prolonging a civil war in Outworld all to gain absolute power for herself AND Mileena. She should be completely self serving and power hungry, but also make decisions best suited for Mileena since she really DOES love her. She's to Mileena what Jade is to Kitana; except she's madly in love with her, but still treacherous and evil by nature. That is one of MANY scenarios I've come up with to make changes to lore, but EXPAND on it instead of changing it COMPLETELY multiple times. Enough "multiverse" crap. Make a story and commit to it for better or worse. They started off good and completely dropped the ball at the end. They had NO idea how to continue and so they backpeddled. I wish they would expand on lore or make NEW decisions motivated by characters, not bad writers.
