Now that I've seen all of Sub-Zero's fatalities I have concluded that sub-zero is truly cold hearted.

MK9 was so good. Still my favorite MK game of all time. Just edging out Ultimate MK3.

The 1st time I saw early development footage of subs mk9 fatality I was hooked. It's so simple but so effective with how he rips the spine and skull. But the rest of the upper body is still attached with some entrails hanging. However I gotta say, his mk deception fatal where he kicks ur legs out then approaches the opponent slowly b4 giving u a massive kerb stomp is my favourite. But um.... Seriously the puns. You deserve an award for those alone 😂 YES DO ALL MK9 FATALS RANKED!!!

I don't think I even knew about the censored bottom two "fatalities." I only thought Liu Kang had a bs fatality like that, stop the madness! I always liked his fatality in MK3 when he blows on the opponent and they break. I get why some don't but I just think it was a smooth fatality from him lol. I forgot about Sub Zero's Deception fatality where he freezes their legs, shatters them, then kills them. Always liked that one. Great top ten, and I definitely agree with #1. The sound when he rips their spine out is so cringeworthy! *shudders* I definitely think that is Sub Zero's best fatality as well. Great list! I would love a MK9 Fatalities ranked video, but not before the death traps video! When are we getting that video? Still hoping it's soon lol.

6:00 so, Sub Zero wasn't in Tournoment Edition, this one is from the original GBA Deadly Alliance ( Scorpion, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are the only characters to appear in both versions), that's why he only has one fatality, as the weapon ones are exclusive to TE.

honestly, the snes fatalities for the most part were a good way to have a finishing move without the need for blood and gore (only exceptions being kano, who could've had a new fatality with his laser eye that reuses the dust pile from raiden's; and johnny, whose would've sold the kick through their chest that they were going for a bit better if they put his foot a bit further past the body). but this had me thinking, how about an "all censored fatalities ranked"? it could have the snes fatals, the non-blood code genesis fatals, the game boy fatals, the MKvsDC fatals, and maybe even the fatals that are altered for kratos in the sony versions of MK9. maybe the criteria could be how well they sell the intent within their limitations (like nintendo's family friendliness, genesis's complete removal of blood on the surface, DC's T for teen rating, and sony's rules for the way kratos should act/be altered).

Something I'd like to see is a top 10 or 20 fatalities across all characters and games. I'm curious to see which one you'd rank as the best one of everyone

Hello there. Just a quick mistake in your video. The censored fatality after the gameboy spot is not from the SNES. It is from the Genesis version without the blood code.

I think that will be cool to do a kung lao re-ranked, because he is the only one who remains, that has 3 fatalities in a mk1, but if you wanna do a mk 2011 fatalities ranked first, i think that is a good idea too.

I think Sub Zero''s finishers are very successfully done, it makes Bi Han what he is, a cold blooded Assassin's who doesn't calculate. I think Bi Han's accessories are also well made, especially i like Bi Han's accessory, which can be seen in the picture in the background, Bi Han's ice blue eyes remind me of Bi Han from the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie. I would be grateful if you could next put Bi Han's outfits in order of superiority

Debatable for sure… they’re popular but there’s def characters that rank up there with them. They’ve been the poster boys/the faces of the game for some time now, and are rightfully iconic.

The game's stories are centered around Liu Kang because he is more representative of the savior of Earthrealm. Scorpion and Sub Zero are near the top in popularity, but they are too flawed to fit the role of the main characters. Ed and John had already established that beforehand, and they couldn't risk altering the story based on fan favorites. That approach would've been too risky because they didn't know when people's tastes might change. I never thought of them as the only characters in MK. It depends on who you ask.

More like, I don't know why mk makes Scorpion and sub the poster boys even tho their not the main characters, not have they been really part of the main plot (mainly MK1 to mk9) I get their popular but that don't mean they shld be the faces of the franchise lol. Wasted opportunity for mkx to put the combat kids as the poster and mk11 to put Liu

I always forget it was a thing considering how quickly they dropped it and just let the uncensored versions be released. Although with how bad the quality was with mk1 on the switch when it first released, it may has well have been censored lmao

34-Wow... you really included the censored ones, and the GB OG Mortal Kombat game...Huh?! Seriously?!, now we have something worse than the self-censored one from the MK3 series. 33-Yeah... a "Super Uppercut" the censored one from the Genesis version of the original Mortal Kombat that makes Liu Kang's finisher look awesome as it's far from lethal, funny enough... the censored SNES one is the best of the bunch in that regard. 32-No longer the worst, but still... 31-Again, feels more like a Kano finisher. 30-The worst spine break, well, usually MK4 is a bad game when it comes to the finishers sadly. 29-As a Cyber Lin-Kuei... bruh... they could have done a better finisher instead of this one. 28-Well, better than the home version I guess. 27-Much better than the self-censored finisher. 26-The worst of MK3 series for the unmasked version, but still decent enough. 25-It's MK2 original is much better. 24-The best censored finisher, and the inspiration for the Deep Freeze finisher from MK2 (the first time we see a finisher of a prequel creating something for the sequel, we would see this stuff with Liu Kang's Dragon Fatality in MK2 inspiring the MK3 series Animalities). 23-For a deliverate MK2 toned down finisher, this one is solid. 22-Again for a toned down version (this time for the MK3 one), still good. 21-Yeah, the original that No.22 barely misses the count due to the game's nature. 20-While being weird the 2nd phase, is good enough for a recreation of the MK2 finisher. 19-While unique, it's pretty weird without the 1st part of Deep Freeze due to the logic of the finisher. 18-"Spine Rib X"... it's fine but... I dunno. 17-The better Cyber Sub-Zero finisher, not the greatest of course, but using the X-Ray feature gives it some points. 16-The worst from MK12 (yeah, I rather call MK1 as MK12 if you ask me, to avoid confusion with the original Mortal Kombat), and is still quite good. 15-"Spine Rib Shaolin Monks"... Well, much better than MKX of course, good takes. 14-"Spine Rib 9"... This one feels that it hurts a lot with the neck bones cracking. 13-This finisher rocks, and is still not the best from MKX. 12-Very unique finisher for Deception/Unchained, aso funny you used the Ultimate mod for the Ps2 version to have a Cyber Lin-Kuei as the victim. 11-Shaolin Monks showed WHY players use part 1 of Deep Freeze in MK2 to make sense of why the victim goes boom!!! with the ice grenade. 10-Well, that hurts, and of course, the best for MK12 (AKA: MK1) 9-Ouch, instead of the spine, he goes for half of the body. 8-The spikes reminds me of a MK3 Shang Tsung finisher, but much better done overall. 7-Cool finisher from start to finish. 6-The unique Spine Rib of the game, instead of just taking it, is used to destroy the frozen body. 5-The REAL OG Deep Freeze, simple but the uppercut gives that "omph" power that it needs to be iconic. 4-Another Spine Rib that combines part 1 of deep freeze and said rib is used as the "ice grenade" to destroy the frozen body, Deception/Unchained really did Sub-Zero justice after the discount Kano finisher from Deadly Alliance. 3-Too simple, but hard to make it go lower than the bronze medal due to the gaming history implications it caused. 2-"Spine Rib Kameo" Well... pretty much take the OG and add veeeery few touches that still feels like it like the original (with more sense I guess) and you get big profit. 1-Yup, perfect shots, and the freeze frame at the end is the cherry on top. If you include the OG Mortal Kombat censored finishers with the other characters like Cage... well, with Cage I wouldn't be surprised if the Genesis/Megadrive one ends at the bothom of the list, not to mention that when you get to Raiden, we might get another Sub-Zero case in that regard.
