Glad you're finally making new videos again! I needed this video like 3 months ago when I was stuck learning ollies because my shoulders weren't square haha. I don't have any in-person skater friends so it took a lot of back-and-forth chat with another skater on Discord to figure out what the problem was. Not enough tutorials talk about keeping the shoulders parallel to the board!

This really hit…
Thank you! This video is just what I needed. Been stuck at very low ollies for a couple of months, and this simple trick to bend down more seems to help!
Its nice to see videos like this as a beginner, they really help. Thanks for making these videos man :)
Not enough speed!! This is so important. Something that helped me immeasurably is filming myself- for myself, not like cinematically- and watching it back to see if I'm making basic mistakes. Instantly can see things to improve.

Great video. Love seeing that helmet in action. It actually looks pretty rad. You wear it well!
Great video for beginners, I’m pretty experienced but I’ve got a few friends who are interested in skating after watching me do boardslides and kickflips and stuff, I’m nowhere near as good a teacher as you so I’ll definitely recommend this video to them and as a long time viewer your channel as well!
So much good advice!!
What an excellent video, great tips.
I just landed my first kick flip after watching this video! You are a life saver and a trick saver!!
Thank you for the videos!! I've gotten back into skateboarding after some years and have been trying to grow confidence. I recognize all the parks you skate at!! I live in the Leander area. We should catch up at a park some time!! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thank you so much for the videos man. I'm 31 years old and going to pick up a board for the first time in 16 years. I wasn't really good because I didn't believe in myself and the "crew" I hung out with, were quick to laugh at me and judge me instead of helping me. Your videos are definitely giving me the self-confidence I need to improve myself. Thank you 🙌🙌🛹🛹

Excellent video. Thanks!
not really a beginner anymore just scrolling through your videos. Had no idea that you’re from austin! Love seeing all the parks that I skate all the time. First time skating was at Wells Branch Skate Park!
Best information in an adequate amount of time. 🔥
Damn that park with the snake run looked sick. I wish we had more flow and transition like parks where I'm at
I really struggle with switching from peddling to riding, it feels like my shoe has too much grip, is that such a thing?

What helped me not do that is to not put alot of weight on your foot that is pushing. Think about it as skimming your foot along the ground, but make sure that's on the ground
I’m still trying to do an Ollie I have only had practiced for 2 days and I’m getting a bit better tighten the trucks a bit definitely gave me more confidence on the board
Great channel
You had me at "Be at the skatepark, when the sun comes up" 😭😂. We don't have sun in Holland, only rain and wind 😭😭
I was watching a vid on how to pump and I saw u were at the exact spot I was skating today. And I think I saw you skating at the park today
