in fact, serena's backhand down the line is still her best shot, next to her serve which is really the greatest in women's tennis ever.

That man is a True Visionary for his Daughters. The reason "THE MEDIA" says he kept them out of Junior Tournaments far from what he's saying out of his OWN MOUTH! (Too Keep the Family Together). He Should be in the Hall of Fame!

I can't. This father brought tears to my eyes. He BELIEVED in his kids, and they knew they had his unconditional support. Support from a parent or guardian can give you the confidence you need to make all your goals, hopes, and dreams come true. Also listen to the father's words: everything he said came true...like a prophecy coming to fruition. His love & protection of his girls and family is so admirable and honorable and set such a strong foundation of achievement & success for his family. Gotta love it. Just have to!

man, talk about ALL of the predictions coming true, and then some!!! I didn't know Venus was undefeated in juniors. And Serena lost only 2 matches in juniors? Amazing stat. And then the dad pulling them from juniors to help them develop? Just goes to show you that there is no blueprint for producing a champion. So many parents spend their time looking for the "greener grass" and always moving their kid's from coach to coach, and program to program. They mean well, but they're looking for the blueprint of producing a champion. There is none, and this proves it. A champion can be developed/built several ways. Most of it is up to the player and their passion/commitment. Then the rest is up to finding the right environment and team for them to shine in. But again, 90% of it is up to the player and their hunger, passion, and commitment. This is what the uneducated parents dont understand, or they're in denial of. They want to buy their kid's way to the top. Doesn't work that way. Never has. Never will. Awesome video.

Look at these losers sitting behind a computer screen making mean-spirited remarks about these two amazing athletes while they were children. A great father that are in his kids life, knows what their kids are capable of. My father was like that and now my kids got me. All my kids were in gifted classes from the second grade and beyond. All my kids are above average, but I am still able to tell. My father told me I had strong ethics because, I will practice anything until I mastered it including sports. I gaduated college with a master's degree and had a 3.9 GPA. I retired a few months ago at the age of 50 and have a couple millions in the bank. I have vacation homes in the Bahamas which I rent out to vacationers. Had to find something to do; was getting board. Last but not least, My daughter was admitted to Harvard and know my other kids will get there as well. I tutored my kids 4 times a week. Thought them easy ways to study as well.
