Having some level of ADHD it's really a breath of fresh air because out of all the other areas in my life, being not just tolerated, but ENCOURAGED to explore and try things out for myself in unconventional ways or by chasing rabbit trails is something I've only ever found at 10p. Eddie is the goat of invention. The gracies may have invented a few new positions but most of the techniques--came from japanese jiu-jitsu and judo. Hell, there is even ancient greek pottery depicting a kimura, a fireman's carry, other grappling positions. All grappling arts have similar techniques. In the past several thousand years, only Eddie Bravo can claim to have invented dozens of entirely new positions and techniques. And the absolute undisputed GOAT at naming techniques, by far (well, maybe that's not fair because he certainly used some PEDs--organic ones--to come up with the names 😂

From being berated, dojo stormed, banned, disrespected, he is now one of the largest names in the sport of Jiu Jitsu as well as professional mma

Humáita brown belt here. I respect and love the innovation Eddie created. Just a straight pioneer for our art. Plus he’s a cool mother-f*ck er too. Chilled with Eddie at Subversiv in San Diego. The guy is a legend.❤

Inspiring as always BMac and Keelan! I was talking with a good training partner from 10 P Oceanside/San Diego (Robert Madison), who is also an old school martial artist like me. We were both comparing Eddie to Bruce Lee and Jeet Kun Do in that way of innovation. I likely could not do BJJ anywhere else given my martial arts upbringing. 10P is truly evolution. #10P4L

Interesting hearing the old school 10P black belts saying "it used to be about fighting and now it's sport". Sounds like the Gracies.

What they mean is that it was ONLY about MMA in the beginning. Now we have tons of people in the system who do both. 🙏🥰
