What do you use for cold emailing? Most autoresponders don't allow this

Correct punctuation for an email greeting requires a comma after the greeting---In Email #3, Tim did this correctly...whereas most people do not! However, he omitted the period/exclamation point at the end! It should have read, "Hey, Ravi." Good morning, Sam. Hello, Sam. Hi, Sam!
