Kind of a perfect pop tune. Beatles-esque. One of my favourites to sing along with. Thanks for reacting.

Great song! 10cc are an English rock band from the 70's. This group was super talented as every member was a multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer & producer. "I'm Not In Love" was their biggest hit in 1975 but they had other songs such as Rubber Bullets", "Dreadlock Holiday", "The Dean & I", "The Wall Street Shuffle", "Silly Love", "Life Is A Minestrone", "Art For Art's Sake", "I'm Mandy, Fly Me" etc.

You may've noticed JAYY that 10CC was down to only 2 original members on The Things We Do For Love. This song being the 1st single released after co-founding members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme left the band. Eric Stewart remembers Kevin Godley saying, "I don't want to play more crap like this." Undeterred, the song became an international Top 10 hit for 10 CC. Reaching #1 in Canada. #2 in Ireland, #5 in The USA and # 6 in the UK. It would seem Eric and Graham Gouldman had the last laugh. Godley and Creme became pioneers in videography. Creating some of MTV's most influential videos by The Police, Duran Duran, Peter Gabriel, Culture Club, Herbie Hancock to name but a few. Great reaction young lady, RNB

Back when music had substance and talent!People wrote & played their own music! I love most music of the 60s70s80s & some 90s some early 2000s..most music today is not music & it sucks!

My favourite 10cc track is ‘Somewhere In Hollywood’, on which Kevin Godley takes the lead vocal. As he does on the amazing ‘Cry’ a subsequent Godley and Creme hit with its awesome video, done the old fashioned way, before digital made it so much easier to do!

You need to come up with new slogans - 1 for your start & one for your ending. For your intro - you used to say ...."with 2 ys & thick thighs." & yet you seemed sensitive about that body part when you gave your brother a hard time when he stated the slogan for you. (It appears TOO many people your age are SO SENSITIVE to the SLIGHTEST thing. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULES that EVERYONE should follow: 1) - What was the person's INTENTION when they said it? Was it MEANT to be hurtful? If NOT, DON'T give them a hard time about it (& this goes for the sake of your brother!) 2) - ASK why they said what they said. You may be surprised by the answer & find it is NOT what you thought or even anything bad at all. Make sure that you are GENUINELY asking (& they know it), & you are not asking this as a rhetorical question which just means they won't answer & defeats the whole chance of a communication bond 3) - SHARE how it made you feel to open dialogue - so that the person can see where they need to be more aware & understanding 4) - (Possibly) EDUCATE someone if they do not understand the topic (& you DO understand it). This can lead to more understanding by more people to each other But BACK to your opening & closing - sorry for the slight digression. ☺ I have some suggestions. For your opening - to stick CLOSE to your original (if you want): "...with 2 ys & expressive eyes.." - Maybe you won't feel comfortable saying this as it CAN be seen as a bit of a brag - but you can just tell anybody that someone ELSE said you had expressive eyes & you are just repeating it. You DO truly have very nice, expressive eyes. Your whole face is wonderfully expressive which makes your reactions so much better - but the biggest draw is how very expressive your eyes are when you are listening to our music. As for your closing - I would just suggest some sort of "goodbye & thanks for watching" type of end - in your own way & your own words of course. These are just my suggestions that you can choose to use or pass on. It's all up to you. Take care & all the best, from your newer subscriber - in Canada. (Enjoy your weekend.)
