I never realized how important Chalkzone was/is until recently. For one thing, it encouraged creativity and problem solving with your brain and not with violence. Also it represented Latina culture, because Penny is a Latina girl in the series, she’s brilliantly smart and passionate about math and science. We need those things now more than ever. ❤️

Yes but, the rugrats pilot was made in the 80's, however we call it a 90's show, therefore, chalkzone is a 2000's show. Get your own creative chalk show 90's kids! This is a show for us 2000's kids!

Since I saw this one first time in 2006 or 2007 when nick got back into the german TV program to me it is a 2000´s show. Unlike Spongebob, The Fairly Odd Parents, Ginger´s World, The Wild Thornberrys and a lot of other shows it didn´t get a run on one of the two broadcast stations.

FINALLY THE EPISODE WE HAVE ALL WAITED FOR!!!

Bless this video ahh I would have REALLY liked to see that character development down the line (despite the emotional parts with Rudy slowly growing older which we all do) I believe it would have been the perfect/wholesome way to end a good series. This show is attached to my childhood and means a lot to me (in a way) but I also feel he would never /completely/ leave Snap. There would at least be some form of communication between the duo, I'd hope anyway! lol

man i remember loving this show as a kid. it was probably my favorite show. I remember being devastated when they took it off the air.

I had a major crush on Penny when I was a kid. Wow, time goes fast.

I loved Rudy to bits because we shared the same hair color ;) At least, I always saw it as more of a strawberry blonde. Most creators either took the red route, the blonde route, or the freakish orange route back in the day, so it was nice having some sort of representation. Between that and the fact that Penny was literally my role model for everything else, this was absolutely my favorite show as a kid, and one that I will remember fondly.

This is was my childhood, Im watching the series again and the show is so relatable when it comes to art, I think the cartoon itself inspired me to draw more often. Best Hobby ever.
