That recovery operative shouldn't be doing recoveries if that's the quality of his work. It didn't look like he straped it down at the end too, just relying on the winch to hold it. I certainly wouldn't want him near my vehicles! The truck at the end was probably overweight too, atleast they strapped it down though.

@@AndyInTheUK how is it more intelligent to take the long way around something that doesnt pose the slightest issue, and i would reason to argue that driving an already 20 year old vehicle is more eco friendly then scrapping it and producing a new one - you know the whole thing about the emissions produced in making a vehicle that no one thinks about and means that most electric cars are worse for the environment than a petrol equivalent until they cover 80,000 miles

that did the gearbox some good, not a skate or slipry in-sight

This video was 1 month ago. The Merc needed it's first MOT on 8th Feb - so wasn't MOT'd at the time of the video...........and at least 1 of it's tyres was illegal.

quite funny how the only vehicle that didnt manage was the plonker that buggered it up initially, was quite impressed how the nissan juke went through twice at a decent speed and got absolutely no water into the airbox

How stupid would you have to be to drive through deep water past a huge 4x4 that failed to make it? Also, when a 4x4 dies and it is in Drive or Park, all four wheels are locked. Useless. Why do people own 4x4s?
