It's wrong, but I mean, in this specific instance I'm not sure the real people were even aware of it. Yes, sometimes identity thieves take out loans in the victims' names etc. and then they're tracked down, but here it seems they only acquired British citizenship on behalf of the victim, if it were me I'd be like thanks mate you saved me the trouble of going through the citizenship quiz 😂

I knew several Taiwanese girls from very rich families. Their parents had sent them to the UK to studies against their will. They attended class few times at the beginning and started to travel around the UK, spending a lot of money, skipping all classes for the entire year. When asking them what they were studying, they would tell me something like... I don't know... If you ask me, why not? Just let them spend their money, it isn't bad for tourism business. Later, I learned most kids from rich families, regardless from where they come from, usually don't attend courses or classes, instead they travel around and have fun, not just Taiwanese. As long as they don't do anything illegal, it plays a small part in benefiting tourism industry.

Yeah...he could have at least given what those 2 stood for. If she wanted to know more, go more in depth. But those are basic interview questions - how does he expect to get a job ANYWHERE if he can't even answer those. I'd be nervous too in an immigration interview - but I wouldn't forget what I had been studying the past year or so, much less if I was in 2 courses for the same subject!

The Indian guy should have been refused entry also because Churchill College is a scam and the emigration people know it. And prison sentences may be stipulated by law, but 8 months for defrauding the tax payer for 14 years does not fit the crime. And they were not deported.

We still take prisoners of war, those who are without a country, asylum seekers, etc, but anyone just looking to change countries without a legitimate reason must have a degree earned at a reputable university, online course studies don't qualify. There is a reason the UN recommendations are for neighboring nations to except political refugees and those fleeing war- neighbors share similar values, less of a culture shock. Good for you that you were able to become a lawyer! Which area of law do you practice?

@@hanji1041 this is true, I won't deny it. We have many immigrant families here from north africa, the middle east and asia. People coming here fleeing a very bad situation, leave because they can not live beneath the weight of oppression, yet they try to import the very problems to my country they are fleeing from in their own nation! If you think its hard to get employment where you are it will be even harder here! Everyone will have a better education, job prospects will be very bad, no written english, no computer skills, no post secondary education you won't even get a job pumping gas! My gardener has two bachelor degrees... Sometimes my neighbors tell me that they were better off in their own country because the education they do have was stellar compared to their other countrymen. Then there is the culture shock. One only needs to look at the swiss to see what a mess opening your doors to refugees can do to destroy any nation. When they invited these refugees to come live there no one gave any thought to wether it should be done. Now there is a four am call to prayer over loud speakers every day of the year followed by the prayer... This happens five times a day. Everyone is forced to listen to it. They expect us not to celebrate our christian holidays because they think its offensive! Demanding we remove the word christ from christmas! Now it just happy holidays! No nativity scenes, nothing but generic holidays for us while they demand respect for theirs! They rape and sexually assault women at will for walking down the street without a male escort! As if its the middle east! They want us all to live under the very oppression they fled from! This is the reason the UN stated neighboring countries that share similar values should take them in, and not allow them to country shop. Most would stay home if they knew they were going nextdoor to a similar poor nation. These are just using the crisis to country shop.

Basically an immigration officer cannot deport people as they want. Everything is actually work like the court of law, you can only be punished when there is an evidence of your crime, even though you confessed it, but no evidence, you can't be punished. And it's the same system goes in here, an immigration officer cannot deport people when there is no evidence of him violating the the term of his stay. Even though it's obvious that the man is clearly pathological idiot, she can't prove his violation, you can see how stressful she was try to find evidence to make this man deported but no result, she phone the college to ask whether he attending the class or not, and the college man said that he consistently attending the class, she tried to phone another college but no answer, how can she possibly prove that he is violating the term of his stay?? That's why the only option is to let him enter, but the man also need to be aware that he is under the watch, and he will got a more pressuring question when he is about to renew the visa.
