Here's my 2 cents as an archaeologist, let's demystify: - The Moai truly "walked", this has been proven by experimental archaeology, just search for "moai walking", there are many videos of these experiences. A proven theory is better than nothing. Furthermore, deforestation and the depletion of resources is likely what led to the end of Rapa Nui, and some statues, due to lack of afforestation, were decompensated during the rains and tilted. This still happens to this day in many places. - Biblical and classical archaeology is a discipline and I am not an expert. However, I know that we have to be 100% careful when analyzing written text, as people have always found ways to put metaphors and lies into their accounts of events, especially degrading the other parties involved. I have read so many documents and when we went to investigate the site the documents lied 80-90% of the time. - The void in Giza is still under investigation, but it is possible that the construction plans were changed, and the corridor was no longer useful, they stopped building it and closed the entrance. It used to happen. - The Antikythera mechanism: we need to stop thinking about things that we still don't understand as advanced. They are 2 different concepts. Usually the best explanation lies in simplicity, and many things that we thought were advanced because we didn't understand, were super simple (and later proven). Also, what do you consider advanced? Also, why do we keep saying that ancient civilizations were not capable of advanced (for their time) technology? - Neanderthals most likely disappeared because of the aforementioned factors. In Portugal, the child of Lapedo was found, which is still under investigation because it is the first known hybrid. Furthermore, modern humans, especially of European or Asian descent, still have 1-2% Neanderthal DNA. In addition, new investigations point out that Neanderthals, and not modern humans, are the ones who started to have notions of art and of living in community (behavioral modernity). - Teotihuacan and other abandoned cities and the collapse of the Bronze Age: it still happens all over the world, the sudden abandonment of cities or villages. We can draw a parallel with current times: the villages are abandoned because of the old population dying and there is no new generation to renew it, because of war, climate change and the economy, the exodus to a better place or the end of resources. Because humans still do it. - I think we are not close to understanding the Nazca lines, but we know how they were made (ancient topography and mathematics). - Stonehenge alone attracts so much attention that similar sites are going unnoticed, like the Almendres Cromlech. These sites must be studied as a whole, to understand the big picture and find their meaning. I believe we've reached a point where you can't exhaust one site anymore because it won't give you an answer, but others like it might give you what you're looking for.

What they do know is that the DNA that was collected from under her fingernails did not match with anyone known or in her family. There is a South Park episode where her parents are featured and it is highly suggested that her parents were part of her death and since then, both Trey Parker and Matt Stone have expressed their regret for portraying the parents in this manner, which is something that is very, very rare of them to do.

Whether they were involved in the crime or not, one thing that the Ramseys most certainly were _not_ was 'a normal family', and for John to assert that they _were_ betrays either his delusional (perhaps even solipsistic) worldview, his deeply ingrained 'privilege blindness', his willingness to attempt to court sympathy by deliberately playing down what he knows full well to be the largely unrelatable aspects of the family's life, or some combination of the three.

It’s still cared for by attendants as it has been for thousands of years.

I can tell you what probably happened to the Ark of the Covenant. It was made of gold, and Nebuchadnezzar’s army took it and brought it home and melted it down to use for something else. The Babylonians had a certain lack of respect for the Hebrews’ culture and religion. To destroy the sacred Ark was to show dominance over the conquered Israelites, as if to say “your God is dead.” Of course, this backfired on them when they were conquered 70 years later by Cyrus the Persian and he allowed the exiled Israelites to return and rebuild their city and temple.

I can’t believe someone went missing and you’re blaming them because they were drunk and had drugs on them. That just says a lot more about you than the person that probably passed away. Heuermann is currently the prime suspect for the murder of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, but he has not been charged with her death.

Please don't do stuff like this MsMojo.

We can pick between Lorenzo Montoya, who killed women, and died when he killed a woman, but was shot to death by the boyfriend of the victim. And Joseph Blea who hired some of the victims, and DNA matches him. But my guess was on Montoya's, as the killings ended when he was killed.
