Solve Those Cases. Discussion Solving Those Stories About Gossip
“While on a trip to New York City” *shows footage of Seattle again*
I remember when the Steubenville rape case happened. They had let them boys out of juvenile detention on Fridays to play football for the team. It made me sick that football was more important than that girl's life and innocence
@ChrisPierreBacon

Only 10 months and 22 months for rape. Gross. Then they went to colleges and played football. Their lives were virtually unaffected by the rape. Ma'lik Richmond's father Nathaniel did try to shoot one of the judges and was gunned down though.

Unfortunately, that's the case all over America. Sports, football especially, are the single most important thing in a lot of people's lives and people in authority will subvert what is right to bow to the sport god. That's why there are so many kids who get away with crimes, can't read or write above a grade school level and have no idea about basic stuff because they have been passed on from grade to grade or their crime is covered up because they're good athletes.

I remember too. I’m in Ohio. I was disgusted.
Problem with the Luka case internet sluths is the previous guy they thought was the cat killer, they harrassed and bullied him until he committed suicide. So yeah, internet sluths can help but sometimes this can turn into mob justice.
The Webcam killer was truly sick. A veteran nurse, married to a nurse, using his medical knowledge to get off on "helping" people. Ugh.
The virgins hit and run case wasn’t told correctly. After the picture of the metal was posted on Reddit, everyone had different ideas of what it could be, it so happened to be that one of the users was a headlight inspector of some sort and had a very good idea what car it came from. It was basically one guy that had the most random job ever that happened to see the post that solved the case

Just remember that there's a lot of cases where internet sleuths hindered more than helped. Or false accusations that have led innocent people to commit suicide, like the Luka case (they accused and harassed other people before they finally got the right person).

If you’re ever curious about number 6 (the Steubenville case) I suggest you watch the documentary “Roll Red Roll” That case shook up my area and the victim went to my high school. Luckily now she’s married and seems to finally be healing from the monstrosities those evil boys did to her

Terribly sorry as I generally like your content, but whomever did the video editing should be more attentive. Mistakes and recycling footage (ie showing images of Seattle when discussing NYC or showing an image of Walt Disney that was already shown when discussing something unrelated) really takes me out. And why did Anonymous get its own entry only explaining what they do without including an actual crime they might’ve solved. Because of the implication, I was left anticipating what government cover-up they solved. Instead, we just moved on.

I had something similar to 8 happen, but it wasn't quite that involved. Someone stole my mother-in-law's phone once and uploaded a bathroom selfie before logging out of iCloud. We used the exif data to get GPS co-ordinates, and gave them, and the picture, to the police. They came back 30 minutes later with our phone. Just remember, everything leaves a trail...
What was that tent around again for at 3:46? And, a few seconds later with the Disney thing... Did they fire the editing department at WatchMojo? If so, re-hire them. This was garbage.
You forgot to include that Billy Jensen has had several allegations against him of sexual misconduct.
Clips from the tent girl and former Disney guy are accidentally are used in number 16

I’m in Ohio and I remember the Steubenville case. I’ll forever be thankful to them. That whole town was willing to look the other way to protect those boys. They didn’t want their lives ruined. I should say, the majority of that town, because there really were good people that were as disgusted as the rest of us. There is a documentary on it. Anonymous did more than threaten to release more videos, if memory serves, they threatened school records being wiped or something. At any rate, the sentences were still a joke, but no charges would have been filed at all if anonymous didn’t basically threaten them, and mean their threat.
Ok, is NO ONE gonna mention that at the 9:11 mark, the map has Illinois misspelled!? WOW!!! 😲😮
So many video errors in this video. The laptop was stolen in NYC and they show a video of Seattle... They show the same Walt Disney fence twice, and the second scene doesn't even have anything to do with Disney.
3:44 that’s a wild curb
At 3:44 you may want to double check your edit. Recycled previous tent girl and disney graphics as a place holder which makes no sense for this story.
3:45 the tent 😂😂
You forgot to mention how that first case is what led to Todd Matthews co-founding The Doe Network, which is one of the most prominent organizations that help assist in identifying the unidentified (John/Jane Doe's). Also they never solved the crime, they just identified the person. Her case is still unsolved.
I remember seeing #8 in several videos talking about the World's Dumbest Criminals 😂

That bot problem has been a major issue for a while now. On top of that, you got scammers acting like larger channels as well. Basically they promote a fake giveaway using telegram for example. They then make you pay for a fake item you will never get . On top of that, they spam multiple comments as well.
Is this underlying advertisement for disneyland? That zoomed in photo of the entrance was used twice.

Whats with the randm B roll?
At 9:08, North Carolina, South Carolina and Illinois are all misspelled.
The internet is a wonderful thing but there are a lot more misses than hits, I think. A lot of the misses are just from wild speculation that can be dangerous. My channel covers true crime and one of these things we try not to do is speculate on cases. Just think of the whole thing with the Boston Bomber or the crazy speculation that's been going on with the college students that were murdered in Idaho.
That piece of “metal” in the Virginia hit & run case sure looked like plastic to me, especially if it came off the grill of a truck.
