    I'm from Indiana and have been following this case. They have Richard Allen in custody. They say he has confessed to the murders but his defense is trying to get the confessions thrown out due to mental illness and poor conditions in the prison he's in. It's all b.s. It's pretty obvious it's just a smoke screen because they know he's going to get the death penalty.

    More info for the Susan Powell story - the government agent that was responsible for the supervised visits with the father took the boys to see him. He yanked the boys inside and slammed the door in her face, refusing to allow her in. The lady called 911 and said the boys were in danger. The 911 operator ignored her pleas for help and berated her. The house then blew up, killing the boys and father.

    The 911 call is the definition of the words "infuriating," and "callous," with the way the dispatcher treated the caseworker who called. He was mad someone had the audacity to call him. It's is publicly available as well. Just a bit more information: Josh took the boys from the caseworker and locked her out of the house. Josh told the boys he had a special surprise waiting for them to get them inside. The caseworker tried to get in since Josh had lost custody but was unable to and called 911. Josh attacked his sons with an ax before lighting the house on fire with either natural gas or gasoline.

He also didn't seem to think she was serious about smelling gas... I don't know if he was doing it on purpose, though.

    Marina Moskalyova, the last victim of the notorious Russian serial killer Alexander Pichushkin, left a note for her son letting him know she was going to take a walk with Pichushkin. She wrote down his phone number as well. Moskalyova's body was discovered in the Bitsa Park on June 14, 2006. A Moscow subway ticket found on her body led the police to examine surveillance cameras footage from the subway system. Marina was filmed just hours before her death, walking on a platform accompanied by Pichushkin. The serial killer was given a life sentence.

  • @LorieLynn

    @LorieLynn

    @@dietotaku On one hand I agree. On the other hand “Mark wants to kill me” definitely creates a bias and the reality is that wanting to kill someone doesn’t mean you did kill someone. It is possible that he wanted to kill her, she knew that so wrote it and then someone else like a scorned lover (his or hers), for example, killed her in a case of coincidence. I’m not saying that is what happened but if it was the bias created by the victims words could be letting the actual killer go free. Hell its possible someone who knew she had written that letter killed her knowing the letter would throw then off their trail by framing the other guy.

    There was a lady named Tierney Ewing, her estranged husband kidnapped and murdered her in 2014; Kevin Ewing was under house arrest and somehow got his ankle bracelet off. For years, Tierney's family tried to get her away from Kevin; they were junior high and senior high school sweethearts. After they were found dead in a town near the Ohio/PA border (he shot her then shot himself), it was revealed that she'd told family and friends over the years that if anything happened to her, it was because of her husband. There was a massive man hunt for the couple. The justice system majorly failed Tierney and her kids, and she paid with her life.

    These murder cases are all sick. Not amusing. I don't understand in a way why people murder other people. There is a way of thinking that is beyond me. To be able to take a human life is unthinkable. Far beyond what I can understand.

    My mom did a paper on serial killers and people who kill. She said most of these are a combination of mental illness, head trauma (or trauma in general) and lack of empathy...some killers understand that they are hurting someone as in they understand being stabbed can hurt you by causing physical pain but don't understand exactly HOW they are hurting someone.
