When I was a little kid, my Mom took the '59 Chev 4 door into town and came back with a 1968 Olds wagon. It had that new car smell and room for all us kids, seems like it had a rear facing fold up rear seat but my Dad could still reach me with Orangatang arms to biff me upside the chops..
the 1963 Olds was the 1st engine I ever rebuilt with my instructor, it was his car and it got special care like a pet. Similar to the My Cousin Vinny court room drama Marisa Tomei regarding positractiion, remember?
Amazing video. Thank you. ❤❤

The video you are watching was recorded by a Canadian.
The '68 Cougar you described as "7 liter" but the viewer is left guessing if it's a 427, 428, or even a 429 - all of which are 7 liters and all are displacements of Ford engines of the era. I know there was avery limited run of 427 Cougars and possibly a 428 and I'm doubtful a 429 made its way into the Cougar, but again, I'm guessing, and the video is of no help in distinguishing which of the 3 it is. I realize it's not easy researching and double checking every engine size for each model you feature, but I would question your single source that simply says 7 liter. I can't think of one credible source that simp.y states the size in liters without also stating the actual cubic inch. If you have to use just one source for engine sizes, forget about metric because nobody used it back then other than the 7 liter Galaxie. Edit - hey, sorry, I forgot to mention all the good things you did including the cool video coverage you, ahem, found, and your actual selection cars were really good and the fact you make efforts to respond to comments all make this site worth the time so the glass is way more than half full. Thanks.

Great vid to bring back so many memories having the chance to own and/or drive alot of what was represented here back in the day ... aside from no info on the 'then vs. now pricing' (lol) ... safe to say every last one of was under a 5-6k sticker price with zero miles on em. I know every one of em I had the pleasure of rackin' some miles on had been just that ... below $5-6k ! And with 'premium 93' fuel under 50c/gal pleasure rides were an every nite - unlike the zero of today - WTF is up with that bidenites ?????? SHAMEFUL GREED is all that comes to mind for what this day and age has now become - nothing less than simply depressing ! As depressing enuff as to look out everyday n' view only panzies in there lil jelly beans and ev's zig-zaggin to wherever they may roam. Now for the downside EDIT : This was a vid mainly of Chev - Olds - Ford ... omitting Pontiac and all Mopars with a few repeats and misc mistakes here n' there ... thou still on the good side since a vid on the by-gone classics of the yesteryear era is just that - good.
