The Gone in Sixty Seconds car was a GT500, not a GT350. Of course that was a prop made car too. The thing that makes the GT350 so famous is its racing pedigree. Gone in Sixty Seconds didn't do anything for the 350 despite the similar bloodline.

It's literally the same car. Only difference between the 350 & 500 is the supercharger. Other than that everything is the exact same. Now a days they make the 500 with a slightly wider body but again everything is exactly alike except for the supercharged engine!! So it's fair to say Cage made it repopular. Also Ford doesn't make 350's & 500's in the same year. They do one per year. So 2010 they make 350s then 2011 they'll make 500s. Just adding that info

Because like @Balance already said the longer you wait the Wow factor is going to go away in collector's minds for it pretty quickly, we are getting close to that chase having taken place almost 30 years ago.

When selling an item you really only have 3 chooses. 1: A private buyer. 2: At Auction. 3: A Pawnshop. The first is very hard to find and takes a lot of time. Number two there's not guarantee as to it'll sale for and you'll be waiting 3-4 months from the first time you meet with the auction house and they'll take at least 20% of the sale price. And number 3 is where you go when you need to sale something today. They are middle men and most pay 60% of the value of the item. As Rick has said many times. "He's the one taking the risk at action" We get it. School failed you and economics isn't your thing!

My first car was a 61' Monza back in late 60's. 2dr with 3 on the floor. Automatic's were a 2 spd. Very slushy & slow. Front end was sloppy like this one, but I rebuilt it; made it a lot tighter. Heater was an exchanger from the heat off the manifold Any pin holes or tears and you'd smell exhaust. The one shown has been converted to an alternator, originals had generators. I put headers and 'cherry bombs' as well. If it was loud, it was faster, right? Nader did them in though. They were prone to broken fan belts and catching on fire. Most owners kept a spare belt under the seat. Two of us ran 90k miles with one under the seat & never had any mechanical issues. Gas mileage? who cares, gas was 25 cents a gal. I had $200 into it and sold it a few years later for $125. I was happy.

Absolutely has to be the case. It'd actually be a clever trick for someone to say "actually, I'd prefer to hear what the expert says first" and then divert all attempts to eek out an answer...... It's different from the usual script, and if they turned down an item/sale JUST because a potential customer wouldn't divulge that info prior, that would be a stupid way to do business. But yeah, that HAS to be a tactic they use. They're in the pawn business. Quite often greedy, to be direct. *Boyfriend of the account holder commenting*

@@ttv-itstheman2222 tactical move..... Reverse psychology. But I admit, that's my bias. I've watched it happen many more times where the expert quotes a lower price, or RIGHT at what the customer is asking. And sometimes, the customer asks a low enough price, not knowing enough about what the item is..... And the shop and expert doesn't completely screw the person. But, folks like the Harrisons..... yeah, they know all the tactics. I've made up my mind, basically. But, no disrespect to anyone .... Except these rich shop owners/tv stars, who literally let deals fail, over a hundred dollars. Sometimes less. These folks who come in, need money, and we don't know the real reasons. The owners are millionaires, and still nickle and dime to the max. I don't care it's a business, it's taking advantage of people in difficult positions. When a small group of men, create a legal system that makes their plundering lawful, and a moral code that glorifies it..... That's a sad situation. And every one on here that glorify the Harrisons.... They're falling into that thinking. Perpetuating the whole cycle. It's not a good thing. Despise what they all think. *Boyfriend of the account holder commenting.*
