Still can't believe Rollercoaster Tycoon hasn't been featured in one yet. Also, Team Fortress Classic was one of my favorites from 99-2006.

@SlaX To add to that, the first "Roller Coaster Tycoon" was entirely made by only one person, the most impressive part is that he used the Assembly language exclusively. If you don't know "Assembly", it's a language that uses the processor's instructions directly (well, the language IS the instructions), it is the lowest level human readable language. It's as close as possible to the computer's hardware (Processor in that case). Programmers in general moved away from using Assembly exclusively, unless they really had to. Even today, Asembly is required to be used for specific things. So it's not going anywhere, that's the basic requirement to speak to the computer's CPU, that hasn't changed. We simply have better tools today. (Aka: other programming languages) My final point is that back when he made that game, newer languages were already existing. He simply chose to go with Assembly directly. So, it required quite the skills for creating that game, especially at that level.

Fascinating to see the early video cut-scenes that came with CD-ROM games. Might and Magic 6 used photos of (apparently) random people they asked to be in the game, they aren't even credited. I wonder where those early pioneer actors from that gaming era are now.

I’ve been struggling to find a game from the early 90s that I can’t recall the name of. It was on Mac and PC and was a marvel and blockbuster is similar to Akinnuoye except the backgrounds of the stages had different coloured blocks that took multiple hits to illuminate, and common household items in the background and the music was alarmingly like a Richard Simmons workout video. Anyone by chance have a clue which game I’m talking about? Four as shitty as I’ve have described it it was actually pretty fun

I was hoping these videos would include 2 pc games I played in my childhood whose names I don’t remember. :( One is a game that has Lego pieces whose colors you can change, and when you decide to change the background, a woman’s voice says, “click on a picture. And then, click the green button.” The second is a platform game where you play as a mole and jump from platform to platform to collect treasure on the right side of each stage and avoid enemies who appear on certain platforms in later levels.

Literally there's that one game which I cannot find and I've literally been searching for a year now 💀 It's a game a lot like that spaceship game called *dove* but with some differences: whenever you defeat the *boss* of the level you are in, you *take their weapon* and advance to the next level with the selection of their weapon or your old weapon and so on. One of the bosses' *weapons* was literally *black orbs* , and another had a *flamethrower* . It's a pixelated 2D game, of course, and the spaceship is situated on the left and its facing the right. The level moves from right to left and you're advancing from left to right *facing other smaller spaceships throughout the level* that you kill for extra tweaks and perks here and there. It also had a *2-player option* if I might add.. If anyone remembers the name of this game it'd be a lifesaver 😭

(To be honest, I just skimmed through the playhead for all three parts, trying to find it, I didn't actually watch them), but there was a small snippet, I think, in the special features for one of my games, and it depicted a group of jazz musicians playing in front of a pitch black background, and every so often, their playing would be interrupted by weird noises such as glass shatters and trumpet noises. Is anybody able to find this for me? I'm sorry if the details are vague, but this is all I can remember from it.

Is anyone familiar with the PC game USA quiz (maybe was titled United States quiz) from the 1990s? I originally played it on an IBM compatible computer. It played the first few notes of The National Anthem upon starting up. The game provides multiple choice questions about state capitals and state birds and such. You also need to answer individual questions before the timer ran out. I really want to find an emulator online, but I've come up empty so far. Any info about this game would be much appreciated! I am looking for a video game in particular from the 90s, if I describe it to you in some detail maybe you can help me. It was a kind of "point and click" set in a medieval fantasy world, with a very dreamlike atmosphere. The protagonist was in a foggy forest, he was dressed all in brown medieval robes with some kind of tights. Some bosses I remember were: - A giiant spider you had to fight with a crossbow, by pointing the mouse cursor on its moving head. - An ugly cannibal goblin with a bone in his hand, dressed in fur, who had a cauldron and lived in a cave. - A red-haired sorceress who lived in a palace. In the scenarios all the characters were fixed in the background, only the protagonist dressed in brown moved, only during the attacks of the spider was there a special animation that moved his head. There were no scenes of violence, but there were text boxes detailing how the bosses killed you. If the protagonist died, a resurrection scenario appeared, with a fixed image of his body ascending to heaven. I think it was a pretty dark video game, it wasn't for kids anyway. I hope someone could remember something familiar.

Nocturne is a great game, it's basically a Resident Evil with Vampires and Werewolves. I remember playing a lot when I was a teenager.

it was better than resident evils and slient hill 2 and not just vampyires zombies werewols its have ghosts or other supernatural enemyies. it basicly resident evil style game with way better graphics and scary tone. everything about nocturne game is really need to research subject. 1ai :for example the zombies can out from graves and can cut arms and use as weapon. 2aido design: aido uses camera angels to scare for example if camera close to blowing window you feel louder close envroment sound. same for guns and enemy sounds. 3blood design. the blood in this game unbeliavle tech for 99. for example you kill zombie with shovel the blood drops after all time from shovel and make trace on ground. you kill zombie close to wall with shotgun blood drop wall like paint. 4ammo: hand guns have ammo for enemy types like silver bullets for vampyire or ghost recure ghost weapon so you cant blindly kill everything with same weapon and unlike resident evils the close combat importing bcouse nocturne big levels you travel you out of ammo. 5graphics with camera design. it work like movie or comic book shot. game not care about to you see character close and easy controlable it cares about to camera angels like scary movie. you can take screen shots and can look better than today games. 6 flash light design. instead of limited ammo thing on resident evils nocturne depends limited flash light. game is dark when your flash light gone it took good amount to fill again. 7 character stanger: starnger is very unsual character. the talk dialog like movie level. the charter clothes not generic like residetn evils coat moves with winds etc. 8 the setting. instead of sci fi resident evil setting nocturne uses real history 1930s setting and some of locations real like germany castle levels. 9music: even nocturne uses free music classics ı guess but it used perfectly. music is not generic it start when enemy show up or close. 10 nocturne engine: nocturne engine its way beyond for time and intresting bcouse it beatt aaa games engines like residen evils and slien hills 2 etc but due to this it never out on consoles. the dreamcast part rumored. also tv serie like xfiles rumered. the game in history: nocturne is realy weird game it gone 99 some ones play it mosy from demo cds then it disappier totaly. not even on gog digitally. the best way to find ncoturne real copy old book stores. its spooky as hell and the cover of game have warnig about heart attack something. cover of game also weird too it uses exposed photo intsed of game envoirement. nocturne engine used games of blair witch. evil dead. alone in the dark new nightmare but the nocturne game ı think uses way more technical than those. some of cheats like storm cheat even makes game more technical. its unbeliavle the game world so into resident evils and slient hills but never heard better looking game. slient hill 2 limited fog areas its joke compared noctunre big opened levels. game also have hard puzzles like adventure game nocturne won best graphics on pc magazines over half life quake 2. can you believe that game forgotten beat quake 2 half life 1. until 2008 dead space 1 there was no scarier atmospheric game than Nocturne. nocturne stranger voice actor played some movies but it died. it spooked like the game. it almost curse on it. the terminal reality shutdown. the bloodrayne is spinof game of nocturne. nocturne effect on me: ı played noctunre on demo cds and when ı told my friends no one beliaved me some says if it was better than resident evils we know or slien hills 2 superior game etc. ı forced to play the game some friends and they accept that its look better than every resident evil and slient hills. on turkey level magazines noctunre scored 95 and resident evil 2 3 was scroed 92 and 89. it was a cover one that issue on turkey instead of all world magazines make resident evil 3 cover. the weird thing that magazine man sinan akkol even forget about the nocturne now he give the 95 score. some people suggested nocturne was demand superior pc thats why many not experience it but ı played the game entry level gefroce mx card and works ok. if any top 100 list include residen evil 2 and slient hill 2 witohut Nocturne its shame of history of gaming or the makers of list totaly console orianted. ı found my real copy on book store on music sections cds. its 2 disc with good manual. for my research youtuber Lgr and Metal jesus rocks only youtbuer have the big box version of nocturne. ı wrotre both of them the cover the game. lgr respond me someday maybe. metal jesus rock mention game briefly on pc box room tour video. ı also mentioned digital foundary john the cover the game he said remember the game.ı ask nocturne the residen evill games book writer bcouse he mentioned smilar games on book like dino crirsis etc he told me never heard the game ı told him have to include the game and shame on you. am like now nocturne geornalist.

Probably the game ‘Nightmare Creatures’, although you could also be thinking of ‘Deathtrap Dungeon’ although the leotard in that isn’t red.
