100 Obscure PC/MS-DOS Games of the 1990s (PART 5: 1994)

Ойындар

A look at 100 very obscure PC/MS-DOS games from the 90s; specifically, the games in this video were all released in 1994. If you played any of these, then hats off to you for being a PC superfan! Chunky VGA/EGA graphics, and Adlib sound OR PC speaker bloops and blips everywhere!
Note that many of these games weren't obscure on other platforms, like the Amiga/Atari ST or other home computer formats that were popular in Europe. However, if you were strictly an MS-DOS/PC user (and didn't live in Europe) - most of these titles would have remained pretty obscure! Some of these even made it over to the consoles - again, mostly popular in Europe. And again, mostly unnoticed on the PC.
Also, this video goes out of the way to include every possible licensed title. Most gamers tended to avoid licensed titles like the plague, and it's interesting now in retrospect to see what they were missing. Additionally, many of the licensed titles were different across formats - so if you did play one of these on the console (e.g. The Last Action Hero), you may find a very different version on the PC...

I've gone through all your videos of obscure MS-DOS games looking for a particular one that I remember playing when I was very young... I've been searching all over the internet for years and still haven't found it. maybe someone here can help me? it was a pretty old-looking educational game, with a pitch black background, basic white text, and some weird colorful creatures/monsters. I'm pretty sure there were two variations from the same publisher: one that focused on math and one on phonics (my family only had the math one, but a friend of mine had the phonics version). the only game I could find when trying to search for it was Number Munchers, but that looks nothing like what I remember. I hated the game as a kid, though. I recall having to solve and type out math problems within a timer, all while those creepy monsters stared at you from the void. had nightmares about it, haha. but I can't find it anywhere for the life of me... on account of the fact that I don't remember the title of the game(s). if anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know, it's been bothering me for decades.

Hello, can you help me with something? How did you manage to run the game Tony and Friends in Kellogg's Land? I tried to run it in Dosbox and it is unplayable, the screen only loads anything if I click on another window on my computer and leave the dosbox window deselected. But if I leave the dosbox window deselected I can't press any button ingame. The game file was downloaded from the ExOv5 collection. What should I do?
