I did A level French years ago, this makes me realise that the style in which it was taught was so not useful to me, intimidating and lists orientated. Thankfully however I remember a lot of the stuff I learnt, but I think submersion is what I need now, these phrases are a v useful part of this.
Merci beaucoup

In day 10 of learning French. I find the pronunciations are tricky, to say the least. I'm intermediate level German and while there are advantages and disadvantages in both languages (from the perspective of a native English speaker)....one distinct adv. of German, IMO, is pronunciation. It is pretty simple to master, save for the tongue twisting words you run in to. The sounds that have 'tricked' me is Un and En. In Duolingo I keep answering "Un voiture" when the correct answer is "En voiture". Overall I'm off to a good start. French has a beautiful flow to it. (As others mentioned, she has perfect pronunciation in both French and English)

Beautiful. If english was just written and not spoken in that cas all the focus could been on french. Just opinion

Isn't 'embrasser' to hug? I learnt a different verb for to kiss. Can't remember if this is the right spelling, but it's something like buiser .
1.52 c'est vu, pas vus
I wish they would ditch the English on the audio or have a French only Audio version. The English in the pdf is ok.
In my opinion it would be so much better if the English was read first. Otherwise we have to read the English anyway to understand the French. Thank you
PLEASE WHAT TEXT TO SPEECH SOFTWARE IS THIS???
I thought voisin meant cousen, not neighbour?
In French words most of the last words are silent may be half it makes it more difficult to learn
Je veux trouver des vidéos sans anglais et uniquement en français. Des phrases plus courtes avec des photos / images.
10:- 'Ne' = 'Not". 15:- 'Pas' = 'Not'. This is the problem. These videos aren't clear enough.
It is good, but I don't want to sit through her reading the English part, which is redundant since one has already read it while the French was being spoken! It makes the learning TOO SLOW!
So you're comig to Ireland by train....👀
you are trying to teach basic french words and yet you use sentences which are not simple. not a good idea

I felt the same at first, then I began to look at it as an immersion use of basic french words getting the real sense of the normal speed and context of the word in progressive conversation. I've been stuck on the most simple use of these basic words for the longest so the intermediate examples are helpful. And of course the english translation is there. Still I get what you are saying for beginner learners. Yet with so many other simple phase videos for basic words on youtube, I like this advance conversation format.
Merci beaucoup.
Merci beaucoup !
