Hello there, I have a 1975 Lincoln cent with no mint mark in a strange gold color, and around the perimeter I have 8 indents spaced somewhat evenly.Examining them, I am seeing that the gold color is all the way through.That tells me that it's something different from a copper example. It weighs about 3grams.I can't lose the feeling it's maybe something special.I am going to have to read all the comments from you better informed folks concerning it So, I thank you for your input in advance and wish you all can find a gem of a specimen in your searches.

On the 1975 penny coin you have shown in this video, on the back at the top the "o" in oF is lower case, but all the other words are in CAPITALS?

The "VDB" was added to Lincoln's shoulder in 1918. 🙂

Excuse me, I have a 1975 D cent with the word AMERICA very close to the edge of the coin, in fact the first letters "A"and "M" are sticking a bit to the edge. So to speak, the die was off center. Could you guide me about it if it has any special value?
