@@ok-sq5rgtamazight influenced mostly our pronunciation+ some words but the dialect is mostly arabic +they aren’t used to our dialect (she’s literally speaking arabic and using words from old fusha ) their dialects aren’t easy either it’s just that we grew up watching tv shows,songs …in Middle Eastern dialects (mostly egyptian and Syrian)

Worth noting to anyone learning Arabic, Moroccan dialect is the one least likely to be understood by people that speak other dialects, so if you learn the Morrocan dialect you will have a hard time conversing with anyone outside Morroco or Algeria, but if you learn the Egyptian dialect for example, you will be understood wherever you go

@@free-Palestine- I'm not Egyptian nor do I speak the Egyptian Dialect. I'm just objectively stating that Egyptian is the most widely understood dialect, probably because of the influence of early Egyptian art such as Abdel Halim Hafiz, Adel Imam, Um Kulthoum, etc. Everyone can recognise and understand the dialect because everyone has heard the songs/watched the plays

I'm moroccan and i agree with you. When i communicate with my friends from other arabic countries i speak egyptian and syrian dialects, because most of them don't undrestand my dialect. But i think syrian is better, it's easy and everybody understand it, specially "shameya" -the accent of Alsham-, some people find egyptian dialect hard to understand or to speak. *sorry if there is any mistake, my english is not that good.*

I'm from egypt and i want to declare something The different words are not related to richness in the Arabic language as the first reason.. but it's mostly related to the truth that when the arab Concord egypt , seria and all the other countries we had our own languages so the spoken arabic now in each country is kind of a mix between our old language and arabic 😊

@13:12 I think the Moroccan course is the most useful. It makes me realize that they use some words of Arabic origin very differently from their original meaning and very different from the other dialects. One thing I find special about Moroccan that it could be very quickly spoken.

It is arguably the least "useful", almost no one in the Arab world understands Moroccan. Egyptian/Khaliji/ syrian or Lebanese all understand each other pretty well but would only get 10 percent of what Moroccans say at most.

@graim4279 no problem at all brother, I got nothing but love for my Moroccan friends. I assume by useful he meant can be used in multiple countries when traveling. Many people lesrning arabic would like to maximize the number of countries they can use it in, consume movies and songs etc. My real life Moroccan friend understands my Egyptian very well but unfortunately I dont understand most of his arabic, sometimes he speak classical so that only I can understand him instead of English when we are hanging out with other non arab people.

That’s not really moroccan dialect she mostly used some words that i never heard them being said in morocco . She was actually speaking with arabic words to make it easier for you to understand for example. We never say akid , thats arabic , we mostly use bien sur ! Or something else

اللهجة المغربية جميلة و سهلة ،الفتاة هنا استعملت خليط من اللهجة المغربية و كلمات فرنسية فافسدت اللهجة ،الاساس فيها هي السرعة و اختصار الكلمات و ان ركزت معها ستجدها لا تختلف مع المصرية الا في نطق الحروف .

Personally I speak algerian dialect and I have a really hard time understanding egyptian dialect. I thought I could only understand moroccan but I figured Syrian for me is completely understandable! It's also really close to fusha and we use similar words. I will start listening more to Syrian arabic:)

I’m just starting to learn conversational Arabic, and man I am so glad that I learned how to read and write it from Quranic school, it makes the sounds they are saying very quickly much easier to understand.

there are many saudi dialects , but if anyone is intrested to learn the saudi dialect i would advise to learn the najdi dialect its known in most parts in saudi and the arabian gulf as well.

Thank you Brian, and the people who contributed with the recordings, it's very useful to improve comprehension in different dialects, and to compare them! I like how they say them fast once, and then more clearly. A way you could improve the video is to include another person of a different gender, for the sentences that change with gender. Like "I'm hungry" etc.

Thus, we summarize the dialects of the Arabic language of the Levant, Gulf, Egyptian, Iraqi, and Maghreb. All Arabs understand each other well, except for Moroccans and Algerians. We don't understand all their words. We Arabs love each other because we share the same culture

I agree Syrian seems easiest to me too. You know you can always just learn Quranic Arabic and you'd fare well in all Arab speaking countries since it's undestood by all. Sure, you'll get weird looks for sounding like their ancestor from a thousand years ago but you'll be able to communicate well enough. I did the same, and i started noticing that dialects come easier after becauset they all derive from Quranic Arabic.

جميل جدا بس الأفضل لو كانت كل جملة باللهجات الأربعة وراء بعض على طول علشان نعرف الفرق بطريقة أوضح وأسهل لكن طبعا هيكون فى مجهود أكبر فى المونتاج فكرة حلوة استمر

انت تعلمت لغة الصحافة والمرسلات والكتب والتلفاز 😂😂😂لا تحزن هذه هي اللغة العربية التي يتعلمها جميع العرب بالمدارس.ولكنالكلام المحلي حسب اي منطة في نفس الدولة تجد الاختلاف من منطقة الى اخرى مثلا بالمغرب عدة لهجات ولكن السياق واحد الكل يفهم الكل 😂😂😂 مرحبا بك نحن ايضا نحب ان نتعلم الكرواتية ❤❤❤

Because u guys aren’t used to our dialect meanwhile we grew up watching content in ur dialects (shows,songs…) btw ME dialects aren’t easy for example I find the iraqi dialect challenging 💁🏻‍♀️

For moroccan "over there" is "L'Heeh" or "L'Heeha" never heard "H'nak" and I've lived all over morocco

😂😂😂الكلمات الفرنسية التي استعملتهم هذه السيدة يستعملوها فقط من يدعون الحداثة ههههاما على العموم الشعب لن تسمعها ههه وحتى مصلح دابا الذي هو بالعربية الفصحى الان. تستعمل في اغلب مناطق المغرب ب دروك 😂😂😂 بمعنى هذه اللهجة ليست في كل المناطق ولكن السياق وطريقة الكلام هي نفسها الا بالشمال او الجنوب تختلف قليلا

You can’t classify “Saudi” as a single dialect since depending on the region the dialects completely differ. I am from Jeddah, the Saudi dialect in this video (I can’t even locate from which region it is) seems so unfamiliar and different to my dialect..

I find the difference between Lebanese and Syrian to be more phonological (a pronunciational difference) than dialectical by way of different words. There are different words, of course (Mu vs Mish for "Not" or Haad vs Hayda for "This") but my overall impression when listening to Syrians is that they simply have a different tone and method of pronunciation rather than a huge dialectical difference.
