@@Gannoh WWE has sucked for 15 years now. Vince lost his fucking mind, and Hunter can’t book to save his life. NXT from 2012 to 2016 was the best Era of NXT, Why?, because Hunter had as little as possible to do with creative in NXT during those 4 years. NXT creative from 2012 to 2016 was Dusty Rhodes (until 2015 when he sadly died) and Ryan Ward (until 2016 when he was moved to write for SmackDown). NXT didn’t become the Hunter show fully until the summer of 2016, and that’s when NXT jumped the shark, as by that point all Hunter wanted to do was hire and push as many Indy darlings as he could. Hunter in creative is awful. Both WWE and AEW currently have 2 people in charge of creative in Hunter and Tony Khan and they are both fucking awful.

I've never been the biggest Triple H fan, but the biggest (and stupidest) misconception about HHH is that he was only a "top guy" thanks to Steph. Trips was already world champ and a main eventer before he and Steph got together.

It's so insulting to Steph too, people totally ignore this part because they have their own golden shovels out, cause of the jealousy. It's not like he married the ugly duckling of the family y'know? Lol. The issues between rock/bret and Shawn/hhh sound sooo interesting, I did hear Bret say that he wanted to put rocky over clean in IC title match in 97 to help him out n stick it to HHH, vince refused him though wanting to keep Brets character strong.

As much as I don’t doubt it given Shawn’s rep at the time, I always wondered if that was just a case of Bret not wanting the I-C Title at the time, since Owen beat Rock for the belt like a month later and I don’t remember hearing any complaining about an agenda.

Apparently HHH offered to help RVD with his promo skills but he wasnt interested which rubbed a couple of ppl in the back the wrong way including him and Apparently Edge didnt like working on Raw in the mid 2000s and it was implied that Raw had a much more political atmosphere and honestly the Steiner and HHH string of horrible matches was on both of them imo

RVD made air w*nk motions the whole time about being a tv character, and the internet loved him for it. Vince was a realist... They were a television show. The reason people mostly stick on television is because of how people communicate on camera, not the skills. They would have loved rvd to be abit more tv oriented but he wasn't having it. He had everything, he just had to accept where he was, a television program. Ecw wasn't made for tv, and he liked that just fine. Wwe has always been tv centred first, so he was always gonna be limited if he was taking the P*ss out of the entire gameplan.

@@Kalel2.0 Wrestling has never gotten over because of the wrestling, it has gotten over like every other television show, by being made for television. The temerity of wrestling fans to dog how Vince presented his shows 😂 Out of all the things in the world, fans think wrestling is the one thing that could get over on tv by not being focused around tv production 😂. I'm not criticising rvd at all, criticising the fans that got into his head, that cheered him on for sarcastically being a tv personality. Like a kid who purposely misbehaves. Bret made it up the ladder because he took acting lessons to improve his verbal range, HBK got over because of his personality. That's why they got opportunities. RVD didn't because he thought it was beneath him, so his rewards were limited. If RVD gave a crap about being over as a household name he would have been treated better. Vince wanted all his roster to aim to be television sensations. RVD didn't care about that. Respect to him, he was happy wrestling, but acting like he was held back when he was in a company that was built around television production is obtuse. RVD is great, but he was in a company that wanted it's talents to be television stars. If you're not motivated to break through the television screens of people at home, you're not gonna get the opportunities you could. It's a shame, I consider RVD in ecw to have promo talent, one of the best in that company. But he rolled his eyes at the idea of cultivating it. You can't say he was held down when he's in a company that tried to be a television show first.

A lot of people in ANY field wouldn’t bother to do that let alone in the world of professional wrestling with the massive egos everyone has. This whole list is BS lol. The views of people who get hammered on drink and drugs who end up snarling at teetotal people is vast, held back by their own indulgences while the competition isn't, and just gets better because their growing experience doesn't get tainted by poison in their bodies and minds. The only thing Triple H did wrong in his career was not hold himself back to make it easier for the lazier guys to compete with him. In our world, we romanticise alcoholics and druggies and go after the clean living people who succeed.

I remember reading back in the day that Triple H was seemingly the reason why Ken Shamrock never returned to WWE, allegedly holding a grudge from back in the day, due to Kenny sometimes pushing back against harsh ribs that HHH & Shawn tried doing to others back in the day, with one against Mark Henry generally being brought up as a notable one that Ken was willing to fight the duo over to keep from happening. Shamrock was apparently super close to returning in the mid-00s, to the point where creative plans were supposedly starting to get made for him, but then it all came to a sudden halt & the deal was never finalized, with Shamrock not knowing who put the kibosh on it, but at least once theorized that it might have been Triple H, though it was more of a "I really can't think of anyone else" scenario & not actual finger pointing. Regardless, Ken Shamrock now has a Legends deal with WWE & was at the Hall of Fame ceremony (& likely WrestleMania) this year, so it looks like any potential heat he & Hunter had is now water under the bridge.

If we're being honest, Triple H wasn't wrong for thinking Edge should be punished for the Lita situation. As for Edge and Triple H having issues, I don't think there was ever any severe heat. Either Edge or someone close to him mentioned Edge preferred being on SD over Raw because SD was taped back in the day and that made it a less stressful environment

Funny that channels like this never go over the real history behind peoples gimmicks 😂 Because if they did they’d mention that The Game took “his” iconic look and gimmick from Shane Douglases The Franchise Gimmick, like he didn’t even switch anything up Trips straight up just yoinked Douglases iconic ECW gimmick and the rest is history 😂

The actual truth is people who analyse this stuff are lazy, they see things that look alike and they link a to b and pat themselves on the back for their genius take. It was the late 90s, lots of people wore that kind of beret on their head. Wwe security did too, did they rip off Shane Douglas? No, it's just because Triple H was a top guy in a wrestling company and so was Douglas that people think it's more of a thing than it was. Triple H didn't need to copy Shane Douglas of all people to succeed in getting up the ladder lmao.

Wrestlers are in direct competition with eachother and EVERY wrestler is jealous of other wrestlers to a certain degree. Its just part of the buisness. Its usually the biggest stars that get the most shit and thats not a coincidence.

Yeah, people analyse the wrestling business like it's a corporate cutthroat thing. It isn't, they're performers with stage time and they want the best opportunities they can for when they go on stage. No wonder actors have the clout they do, people act like what they're doing is highly immersive political stuff, wartime seriousness.
