For April Fools they seriously need to do a "Worst Games of 2048" and just make it all up. "Number 7 - Final Fantasy Dissidia: Crystal Karts. It's been 7 years since the abomination that was chocobo romance simulator Final Fantasy XVIII, and gaming icon Yoko Taro was brought in to breath some life into the JRPG staple. His solution? An 80 hour cinematic event sprinkled with some light kart racing. Rather than the heroes and villains fighting, like in previous Dissidia games, Crystal Karts has FF icons like Cloud Strife, Terra and the Warrior of Light himself doing sick drifts against the likes of Garland, Kefka and Sephiroth. Critics noted that the kart racing was as standard as kart racing gets, with a handful of powerups and iconic Final Fantasy tracks. The only problem was the convoluted storyline featuring cutscenes, sometimes upwards of 20 minutes, between races that lasted a fraction of that time. The story also took itself way too seriously when the fate of the FF multiverse was being decided by three laps around the Golden Saucer."

Raven’s Cry is hilarious. They changed all the dialogue so sometimes voices abruptly change or the characters move their lips without any sound. It’s a glorious mess.

Honestly, I enjoyed Godzilla in a stress releasing mind numbing way. Turn the language to Japanese and there goes the constant generator meme.

Surprisingly, Godzilla is very expensive these days. Around $400 for a factory sealed copy. Saw copies on eBay for even more than that.

Zombeer is why I don’t generally like “adult” games like Postal. Shitty offensive and edgy humor that is never utilized properly (at least not in the later Postal titles). Also the beer mechanic is like malaria from Far Cry 2…

It kinda a missed opportunity to not have offline multiplayer in that game, it's pretty dead online. Also need a way to mute the human announcer everytime about the damn reactor.

Correction: it *would* have been an interesting concept for Alone in the Dark: Illumination, had that exact same thing not been done with Alan Wake already.

I'm surprised Overlord: Fellowship of Evil (2015) didn't get a mention here. All the previous entries in the series were excellent games. But when it came to the last entry. Released 6 years after the previous game. Even though I was looking foward to this. It was truly panned a terrible and dissapointing game in the series. Only getting very low review scores on all platforms (PC, PS4 & Xbox).

Waiting for someone to do that Choot em up now. Come on pervs.

I remember one of the worst games of 2015 was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 which I even have too for PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 since I actually have the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of THPS5. Even though the game itself is terrible and all, I actually kinda somewhat like it in a way, especially since it has that classic gameplay feel almost as the previous Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games although I really like the older games better including the remakes of THPS1 and THPS2 which I already have for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Personally , as a veteran Hardcore gamer with 15 years of Gaming History atleast... Its safe to say the Year 2015 released some of the Best games i've ever played atleast for Console Gaming. ( The Witcher 3 , Bloodborne , Dying Light , DS2 Scholar of the First Sin etc. ). Pretty awsome Year for Games no doubt. 💯

Well we can say Godzilla is a bad game but now is expansive as shit so....

I really enjoyed Zombeer's chessiness and fan service to classic horror movies and video games.

That PS4 Godzilla game is worth a small fortune. I shoulda bought a copy from a bargain bin when I had the chance.

I keep hoping to see "two worlds " on ONE of these lists.

To be honest, half the time I could care less about the story or I'm about game play. I couldn't even tell you what the majority of the last few major titles I've played are about. I didn't watch one cut scene in cyber punk, or fry cry 6

I loved Godzilla PS4 & certainly get why you went with a Godzilla pic to get clicks, but that $400 price tag it goes for nowadays, suggests its loved by more people than you might think - JS

As much as Godzilla is a terrible game is... I kinda enjoy playing it. Having him grow from 50% all the way up to 120% to where he basically towers over the generators is fun to accomplish.

They are rebooting the Alone in the Dark franchise now will it be any good who knows yet.

Funny, there’s an AVGN episode on Godzilla games, and the version in this video tops his list… lol… it’s amazing how a little shift in perspective can make interesting videos out of a bollocks game..

Undoubtedly Ravens Cry was shit, but is it really that unacceptable to portray the pirates as racist , sexiest and homophobic, i.e. as people likely were 300-400 years ago? Why can't the professionally offended understand historical context?

Seriously, of all the criticisms of that game that has to be one of the stupidest. It's called authenticity, I don't know why people would expect pirates of all people to be PC.

Chronus Arc looks like a knock-off Chrono Trigger, which is likely what they were depending on for sales.

How can you include Godzilla and not mention that it is one of the most expensive/valuable PS4 games? 🦀

The new nightmare was really good though it definitely shared a lot both good and bad with RE at the time. 1 and 2 definitely hold up the worst as 1 was even clunkier than the first resident evil and definitely uglier. And two I'm not sure ever had a good console release. I don't think for is the one you're thinking of because if it's the one on PS3 and 360 the 360 version at least was very broken and very buggy and just not well liked I don't think by anybody. What's a shame is the best game in the series the new nightmare or a New nightmare I can never remember exactly has never gotten a re-release or any modern port of any kind.

I have to really oppose the opposition towards Godzilla PS4; while it's far from a perfect game, it's far from awful. It's just... mediocre. I feel a lot of the hate simply comes down to critics having a predisposition against Godzilla, which has always and will always be true. It's a C-rate game, but because it's Godzilla, that alone bumps it down. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to stick with Save the Earth on my PS2, but Godzilla PS4 is still fun in short bursts.

That's okay buddy, if you still have your Disk Copy, Just know that it is worth $250-$1,000 cause of the movies becoming popular, the game became popular. So yeah it may suck, but to those critics and haters who decided to sell or get rid of their copies just lost out on making money. So we get the last laugh buddy, thanks to the movies and us die hard Godzilla Fans.

Project Root is not a bullet hell. Ikaruga's a bullet hell. CAVE games are bullet hells. Most of the Touhou games are bullet hells. Project Root has almost nothing in common with any of the above.
