Blame fans as well. They want state of the art open world games released YESTERDAY and at a cheaper price. The companies pressure the devs to work harder and longer to release a game by a ridiculously tight deadline.

Putting gta trilogy on number 6 was a gift, it really deserves to be on number 3 at least. The gta San Andreas that has "less bugs" than the other two, is unplayable because it doesn’t even let you resume your game closing the game in the proccess.

FMV games have definitely had a resurgence recently, I think because of Her Story. I haven’t played any, but I have seen a bunch on digital stores.

There are 2 I highly recommend called Late Shift and The Complex, when I have friends over I have them play just to see what choices they make compared to mine.

I liked Necromunda..it wasn't perfect but it wasn't one of the worst games of 2021 by any stretch.

Necromunda isn’t a bad game I agree with you, GMans review on it is 100% accurate it’s a good game with some shit stained polish basically.

Before the video even completes, for me Battlefield 2042 was the worst game of the year. It was so bad. I wasn't disappointed. I was astonished as to how they even thought of releasing it in that state.

You've actually done Balan Blunderworld a service by NOT showing the Switch version. That footage actually makes it look like quite a fun game. I tried the demo and as soon as I saw the character run I knew it was going to be a shit show. Shame really as I wanted it to be good. Aesthetically it's rather lovely.

@@odioalospoopers Same here. I do love a good plaformer from time to time and with such a heritage it could have (and should have) been at least a good game.

25% is a great score considering how bad efootball is. You didn't begin to scratch on how deeply things are wrong with it. Such as they changed the run fast button from R1 to R2. Every single pes game ever the run fast has always been R1. Also remember soft tackling with X. Good luck with that.

A sports game on a list of worst games from any given year is really, really not a surprise.

I'm still in awe at konami how they f...ed up with efootball, considering PES 2020 was best football game I've played since PES6. Also I recommend buying physical versions of Balan it smells like future "cult classic"/"hidden gem".

I actually liked Necromunda... It never crashed on me, but it did have some weird glitches and bugs.

Balan Wonderland had a book you needed to read to understand it. It is kinda like reading a magna to understand a anime.

CDPR had such a salty year knowing they are never going to come close to the success they wanted for CP.

The problem with releasing a game like GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition in a buggy mess and just patching it away is when those servers necessary for the patches go down in less than a decade the game will be forever a buggy mess for future Angry video game reviewers who might happen on the game.

Did GTA: Definitive edition get a physical release? Patches should not be a problem if it is digital only as it will be updated from the get go. Either way so is it still a buggy mess.

I ordered a pair of headphones and a controller charger from a website and they threw in a free copy of Battlefield 2042. Kind of rude of them to throw their trash in my package.

I played the Demo Version of E-Football 2022 and I saw the UI design of this game, it looked more of a Kids game that was made in 5 minutes... and I said to myself "Ohhh, this one is going to be great.."

I just came up with the most insane idea for a game as a spiritual successor to Crazy Taxi. A high-budget driving game set in a near-future where most of taxi service is replaced with various competing ride-share services. You start out as a rookie, trying to up your number of stars and rides, competing with other NPC drivers and adding increasingly chaotic and wacky upgrades to your car as things progressively grow more crazy through the game's story and open world. The title? Rideshare Royale.

Necromunda wasn't great but It's pretty harsh to put it on a worst games of the year list.

I never trust critics. If a game looks fun to me, I buy it. That's what I did with Necromunda. And I actually liked it.

As far as I See Black Clouds goes, I've not played it, but the publisher Wales Interactive has done quite a few FMV games, and some are them are actually pretty good - shame this isn't one of them!

I have it on ps5, it is a fantastic frenetic and beautiful fps within the Warhammer world. Not perfect but a lot of fun.

This is another reason why TripleJump is better than Wh*NameRedacted*re. The worst game of the year list is actually based on reviews and not just opinions/things that will make people click the video. Does show that we've had a good year for gaming this year with these games being the worst 10 of the year.

It’s funny that Taxi Chaos is on here because for me it’s the 2nd best game of the year behind Psychonauts 2. Everyone’s biggest problem with it is that “it’s not crazy taxi and it tries to be” which would be a legitimate complaint if Sega hadn’t given up on the series years ago and we were still getting Crazy Taxi releases. Either way great video, just shows how one mans trash is another mans treasure.

The, "Werewolf," game was a HUGE disappointment! If only White Wolf Games followed the same formula w/,"Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines," we would've had a much better game!

I had no idea the Invisible Man was a pro soccer star.

Quite odd that Battlefield 2042 and D&D: Dark Alliance weren't on this list. Were they really ranked higher than Necromunda: Hired Gun?

The Castlevania Advance Collection that came out this year is really good. The PC version of Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All! got a lot of hate, but I think that's mostly because of the total lack of any Options. None of the graphics, controls or sound could be changed or altered at all, other than that I really enjoy Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All! I find it to be a fun beat 'em up but that said there're more people that hate the game then there's people that like the game.

@@doctor0827 not really, i m more into Warhammer Fantasy than 40K, that is why I love Vermintides, but i love cyberpunky stuff and necromunda fits right in it

Tbf, the first PES of each new generation is usually shit, it just takes them time to get new ideas/hardware right. It'll probably be awesome again in a couple of years.

Despite the bugs, I liked Necromunda Hired Gun. Definitely isn't AAA budget, but I'll take it over most boring, greed filled, and broken AAA FPS games that released in 2021. They have no excuses.

I liked it too, but stopped playing it after its 9th crash at the end of a mission, forcing me to completely replay it. That’s when I decided I had had enough.

Glad I didn't pick up I Saw Black Clouds, I'm a huge FMV fan though and if you are too, pick up The Shapeshifting Detective, it's a lot of fun.

If they stuck with the game a bit longer, they would've gotten the fastest car in Taxi Chaos, and also learn all of the shortcuts, from alleyways, to even buildings. That sure helped with my high score.

Metacritic Proreview score: 67%. Metacritic User review score: 0.2%. I have to say that uh,... the trustworthiness of professional video game critics these days is,... hmm,... well,... I think they were going by professional reviews only, not player reviews. That would have sunk some games far lower.

Werewolf gets more flak than it deserves, its not gonna win any game of the year awards but it's good solid beat em up fun

I'm not a gamer much these days. Il play the odd Wii Sports game at a party or classic Fifa or a Dreamcast game around Christmas time. Or il replay an old Resident Evil game for nostalgia. So when I see a shit list for new games and I see how amazing the graphics are and hearing the games are shit, shows how out of the loop I am lol

I “played” _I Saw Black Clouds_ on Switch, and it really is awful. Garbage nothing story that has a plot twist that feels more exploitative of real life issues and like a messy cop out than it feels interesting, and the morality system and other stats are basically just a jpeg suggesting how your character SHOULD be as opposed to how she actually is.

Madden 22 will appear at end of year on next list.

Necromunda and werewolf on the PS5 were fun and i enjoyed them quite a lot. Necromunda, frenetic, warhammer and beautiful; Werewolf, easy and simple gameplay, decent graphics and overall old school fun imo. Metacritic really is pointless

Werewolf had pretty fun combat and cool music. If the entire game wasn't based inside the same boring yellow factory complex doing the exact same thing to the same enemies it could have been decent.
