My husband was raised on a big farm by his grandparents. Every Christmas, he got a game of checkers and he and his granny would play whenever they weren't working. A large farm requires hard work, and that's mostly what he did from right before sun-up before school and after until he went to bed at night. And he was thankful for his game of checkers. Today's kids are spoiled and think they should have everything handed to them without having to work for it or earn it.

Im nor surprised that these kids were so dissapointed... I personally expect like a play set or books, or something for a pc/console game for christmas for kids.
