10 ways to get indefinite leave to remain ✅️(FAST & SLOW)❗️*in 2020*

There are a few ways to be granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK. However, it is important to note the slight differences between each of the immigration categories and their requirements.
1. These settlement routes allow you to apply for ILR after 5 years in the UK, including:
2. Indefinite leave to remain after less than 5 years
3. ILR after 5 years by combining different immigration categories
4. British Citizenship after ILR
These visa routes give you permanent residence after 3 years:
Tier 1 (Investor)
Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
Tier 2 (General) Skilled Worker
Tier 2 (Intra-company Transfer) (ICT) (if granted under the rules in place before 6 April 2010)
Sole Representative of an Overseas Business
UK Ancestry
Other 5 year routes to settlement include the Spouse, Civil Partner and Unmarried Partner routes.
Further details regarding settlement can be found here.
These visa routes give you indefinite leave to remain in less than 5 years:
1. Tier 1 (Investor)
2. Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
3. Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
4. Innovator Visa
Innovator visa: here, you are granted ILR, provided that you have spent 3 years lawfully in the UK. However, you are not able to use your time spent on the start-up visa to count towards those three years in the ILR qualifying period.

Many thanks for this video. Very clear and well explained, this is very helpful. Please keep making these videos! Let's admit that someone got a tier2 general and spent 5 years in the UK. Could you please talk about the other requirements such as language skills and others!? Thanks in advance

Dear Mr.Bradford. Many thanks for all the amazing videios & informations you provide to help people. Please may you guide me on this matter. I am applying for my ILR Tier 2 General Migrant visa . Since we are allowed to apply at most 28 days before completing 5 years period, I wonder if it would be an issue if I chose the super priority route as on the day a decision will be made for our application I will be, say 27 days short of the required 5 years qualifying period. Thank you & kind regards.

Dear Tom, I would like to know if I send my kids to study in UK in private school. Now they are 5 and 7 years old. They will study at UK until they graduate from University. They will stay at UK to study over 10 - 12 years. So, will they able to get the British Passport and stay in UK after they graduate?
