When I was young, I always used school supplies to colour my draw. The result was so bad, I felt like I was destroying my draw by colouring it. So I stopped doing it. I decided to give it a new shot many many years later when I discovered W&N alcohol markers thanks to you. You brought back to life my colour artist soul So yeah imo, even for kids school supplies are terrible and it slow down their creativity

*Both lookin good sometimes its hard which one is better but thiss time 100% the right*

The Tombow Dual Brush Pens would be good to use if you wanna compare a sorta pricey water-based marker vs a cheap water-based marker. They're about $15 for 10 markers. They're pretty nice to use but they do start to eat at the paper if you layer too much. Even on watercolor paper.

Love this series, it’s the reason I found his channel in the first place 🔝💯🔥

To me it looks like one side was a angry version and the other was the regular happy sonic

The color ≠ cap issue, I’d get some white circle label stickers and color them and stick them to the pen and the cap. You can go further and put a piece of clear tape over them to keep them from wearing away.

you are just a god tier shader. you make every marker you use look 20x better. I wish i could think of light sources the way you do and 3 dimentional shapes. i can only do detailed 2d drawings and its been irritating me for years. Like a mental block.

This actually turned out really cool! I think you’re really getting the hang of using cheap markers. The best thing to help make cheap markers look better though is something like a Pentel Waterbrush. It basically works like a colorless blender for alcohol markers. Also sponge tip markers, like Crayola, are more flexible and smooth so they don’t tear up the paper much if you give the ink enough time to dry, and the waterbrush being flexible would keep from tearing the paper too. I’d highly recommend trying Crayola markers with a waterbrush on some thicker paper the next time you do a video like this again.

In my 48 pack of them, it only has maybe 4 browns including a darker skin tone, I usually end up using a mix of three packs of markers (ohuhus, five below nameless markers and the bic permanent markers, they have less around 9-10 browns over the three packs)

You never have to apologize for talking....you are fun to listen to!

I have a set of Ohuhu markers, and they are amazing. They’re available on Amazon, and if you are a Prime member, you can buy the 100 marker set for about $75US. They are fantastic! No paid promotion hahaha

That gritty one would look cool if your doing a darker version of sonic

That flaky stuff is paper rubbing on to your marker because the marker is water based. Its like making paper wet then keep rubbing the paper with with a piece of wood

Angling the cheap felt tip 80 degrees sideways seem to reduce/prevent damage to the paper from my experience (not pressing as hard seems to help me as well), but there will still be times where pointy is the only option

1:34 little Crash of ADC Crash fits your T - Shirt 😉 And even the smaller Pack of the Ohuhu-Markers is more than the Faber-Castell if I seen it right (80Pcs. vs. 50 pcs) I guess the Faber Castell Markers might need a different paper to get a bit bigger chance to shine. From the distance they look quite fine too. What a pitty that they grain the paper that much.

The white shell markers with the color on the cap and bottom on the marker shell are the best markers. Wanted them for christmas every year😂

I got the 200 color set of Ohuhu markers and the first thing I did was make a color gradient sheet for all of the colors. Took some time but saved lots of time when doing projects
