MGSV wasn't supposed to make sense with the ending we initially got there was more of a story with the Lost chapter which Konami will never release because Kojima deleted it so the game would fail (which it didn't)

@@hectorsanaifric343 it wasn’t “deleted” the story itself is already finished, mg5 is a prequel story, there was a planned 3rd chapter in the game that never got finished because the game was rushed by Konami because they were going through an ea stage and were being very money hungry, it wasn’t entirely necessary to the story so it was cut out from the plan. It also helps they were working on metal gear survive and were wanting to hurry up and announce it after players were hyped from 5 Of course after chapter one the story is mostly wrapped up and by chapter 2 there are no loose ends that arnt addressed in previous games. Sure we could have gone into more detail about how Eli becomes liquid snake for example but we don’t really need to, we already know he is liquid snake based on the evidence the game gives us. There are multiple hours long analysis videos on mg5 that go over the story in detail but the to long didn’t read is that it’s much more complete then people think. The story is, for the most part, not directly given to the player it’s largely up to you to figure out what’s going on by piecing together the evidence that’s given to you, so if you don’t try to do that the story feels incomplete, even more so if that was your first metal gear game. Because mg5 just barely gives you enough details. It’s a beautifully crafted game in more ways then one.

Maybe but he made the imposter much cooler than the original, making the real snake piss himself in the hospital, and most of original snakes accomplishments were fake, in 4 they made him a baby sat in a pod to be saved, helpless so considering all that 5 aint all that different, the real hero is the imposter

He shows up in this form first time in Code Veronica, which is actually RE3 in terms of continuity and cannon, Nemesis is actually suppose to be spinoff, but because Veronica was Dreamcast inclusive, they didn't want "number" in their title, unlike Sony, who could care less.

I have played Mass Effect Andromeda twice both times putting about 70 to 75 hours into it. The first time I play the game I achieve to 100% completion of the story. Which there are these memory files so to speak that you have to find. Once you found all of them it does explain why they made the trip to Andromeda. They actually do mention the events that happened in Mass Effect two roughly. Basically a bunch of rich people decided to take a bunch of other people with them in the hopes that they can explore meet new races and if the off chance that Commander Shepard was right about the reapers then they would save humanity amongst the other races as well.

Andromeda makes that quite clear. The Arks leave the Milky Way between the events of ME2 and ME3. By the time they reach Andromeda, what happened in ME3 is already over. In a way, its a branching time line thats not dependent on the players choices of ME3. Its a shame Bioware designed the game as part of a new trilogy rather than a stand alone game though. That was the formula that made ME1 and 2 so great. They stood on their own as a singular stories inside of a bigger world. Andromeda was designed from the start to be a story broken into multiple games. Their own ambition ruined them in a way

Chim basically lets you control existence with no issue and very little effort. only three individuals in lore are said to have achieved Chim, Vivvec, Tiber Septim, and its suspected that the third is one of the 15 different Manimmarcos that exist in TES because that is a headache on its own.

Andromeda existed as a spin-off, much like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager, and a way to continue (not the story but) the ME universe after Shep's battle against the Reapers. The story wasn't even that bad; humans fed up with political crap and afraid of things to come so fled elsewhere with a band of others. It had some impressive semi-open world gameplay with some intense action and great characters, bugs that were HEAVILY patched (although I pre-ordered the game and all I experienced was Ryder spinning in a circle) and yet people decided to hate it, drive down sales, etc. Well, the company in charge isn't gonna pursue it further because players chose to hate it since day 1. Hate to say it but I found ME1 to be much less enjoyable with it's repetitive level layout when assaulting bases, good story but boring gameplay. ME2 was a HUGE improvement but sadly we will never see what could've been in ME:A2... -Mad Wolf

Truthfully, I think many ME fans were half-expecting to get a slight time jump and get to experience the old Normandy crew again after "the choice" was made with a continued save file. But when we got a COMPLETELY new story and only miniscule references to the old ME games (and you gotta look for those most of the time), people were just butthurt. Halo Reach is actually based on the book "The Fall of Reach" by Eric Nylund It was a book published in 2001. Game came out 9 years later. They didn't make new spartans....because the original ones were all selected and kidnapped at around age 5 or 6. They would find the most athletic kids with the best leadership abilities, and abduct them. They replaced them with a clone that would die in a couple of days so that nobody would suspect that the kid was actually kidnapped. The kids were basically tortured during training and a lot of them did not make it through the process. (that's low key why they were called spartans btw). There was one part where they get put in a tank and it's like subjected to high pressure or something and it ends up deforming a lot of the people. "make or break" type of thing. Those spartans who were disfigured were placed in support roles. It doesn't make sense lore wise for there to be more spartans. The Fall of Reach already answered the question of "why didn't they just train more spartans" It's because Spartans are the result of torturing children.

  • @crazybastid3878

    @crazybastid3878

    2 жыл бұрын

Yeah, I read that book too. You got some things wrong. Yes, they were kidnapped and replaced with clones, but they lasted longer. Maybe up to a few years. If they'd all died within a few days, it would have been found out pretty quick. They were not tortured during training. It's called training for a reason. Harsh to put kids through that kind of training, certainly. But not torture. Every standing army has the same kind of boot camp and special forces training is a special kind of hell. As Spartans were meant to be the best, their training reflected that. Some were broken and 'retired' to a private facility, but few died. They were, after all, also chosen for being smart. Dumb kids that would make stupid mistakes were not chosen for the program. 'Put in a tank and subjected to high pressure ...' is so full of crap it's depressing. They were given growth hormones and other treatments to enhance the density of their muscles and bones. From my understanding, it was never stated how many died in that process, but it was at least a third. More were deformed and 'retired' as well. The rest went on to enhanced training so they could get used to their new, larger, more muscular and heavier bodies and learn how to best put them to use. Yes, the Spartan II's were kidnapped children. They were not tortured. They were not subjected to experiments. They went through years of hard, grueling training that most grown men would break under. Cruel, yes. All that other shit? No. Also, the majority of Noble Team in Halo: Reach were Spartan III's, with few exceptions. Another note - they did get more Spartans. The III's for example, were 'volunteers' from the ranks of regular or elite troops in the UNSC during the war years. It was a thirty year long war, after all, before the Halo's were discovered. Also the IV's came about after the war, after the Chief was lost at the end of Halo 3. Buck was an ODST in the game of that name and in Halo 5 was a Spartan. Locke was an asset for ONI during the war. Not sure what the rest of Osiris Team was doing, but there were plenty of other Spartans trained after the II's. And let's be clear here. The original Spartan project resulted in every subject dying in truly horrific ways that not even the book authors or game writers or anyone else had the balls to describe, so the Spartan II project was thought out to an insane degree before it was ever even considered as a viable option. Basically, if you're going to spout facts like that, make sure you get it right. Giving a half assed read of one book a long time ago does not make you an expert on lore. Doing some freaking research on it does.

I actually enjoyed Andromeda. Set aside the memes and occasional hiccups its actually a fairly good game. Yeah the story isny so high stakes as the og trilogy, but the combat is tighter and i generally liked some of the characters.

Diablo being on this list couldn’t be more incorrect. Nothing changed. The end cutscene shows the warrior shoving the soulstone in their forehead, no matter which class you play. The second game explains the story of the first. It just takes until the third game to give the warrior a name. The rogue became the blood raven in act 1 of D2 and the sorcerer becomes the summoner in act 2 in D2.

The change was with making him Prince Aiden and nobody ever once mentioning. He's returning from Battle...with no weapons and armor? Nobody realizes? He never once thinks to go to the Blacksmith like "Yo, I'm the Prince Eldest Son potentially King dude. How about you give me my Weapons and Armor that you got over there?

Master Chief was never the last spartan, he just thought he was. He originally believed during the event of the first Halo game that Linda and him were the only surviving spartans of the fall of reach and he also was loosing hope in Linda's survival due to the Pillar of Autumn not having the proper medical equipment to save her. In the First Strike novel which takes place immediately after the events of Halo, Master Chief returns to Reach and gets the remaining spartans out of there and getting Linda some medical attention. I know this a "well actually" post but I did want to correct the error.

I mean DMC2 has one big thing in it, which is, at the end, Dante goes off into Hell at the end, and in the current timeline, 2 is the game before 4, and Dante just shows up in 4, it means Dante knows some way out of Hell. That's important because in DMC5, at the end, Dante and Vergil go into Hell again, so Dante should know a way out, which means DMC6 will maybe feature Dante and Vergil in it, which means 5 may not be Dante's last adventure.

Man, when you mentioned KH. I feel ya, my dude. I feel ya. As for Andromeda, I might be in a minority but honestly, I kinda like it. Its Bioware trying to expand the ME lore outside of the ME lore (post-Shepard) so Im actually pretty bummed out that the next one will continue Shepard's story rather than continuing or expanding Andromeda's lore.

Look up Drew Karpyshyn (Long time but now ex-Bioware employee and lead writer for the first 2 ME games) points on ME universe and ME3. It will explain some of the gaps and missing points as he had a plan but Bioware had others. It's sad what could have been.

The master chief thing could be explained as Master chief was the last remaining spartan in active duty, or the last hyper lethal one(Only 2 carry this rating, one being chief and the other being noble six). Or it could be the last spartan with an AI companion.

Idc what anyone says, Mass Effect Andromeda was a good game that simply didn't live up to the hype of being a Mass Effect game. The only true criticism it deserves is that it was designed as a single entry of a series of games where as the 1st 2 Mass Effect games could stand on their own outside of their own trilogy

The heartless have always been described as the stolen hearts of people who fell to fear and darkness since the first game (reason being they were gathering hearts to reach/summon the kingdom of hearts) in the second you see whats created once "you lose your heart", the creation of nobodies (empty carcases). In the games theres many documents explaining everything, although it does get kind of tedious. And the organization XIII aren't all versions of xenahort... only one is, Roxas for example is Sora's nobody (of when he briefly became a heartless) like Axel is the one of Lea...

About Assassin's Creed, I would also add that the story, from the 1st one to Syndicate, always was the Creed vs. Templars thing. Then came Origins and now we have this "Order of the Ancients" that predates the Templars and (at least in Origins) really came out of nowhere.

I didn't mind that really. It shows how the names have evolved over time. If I remember correctly, the names changed due to translation between languages over time as they spread. The order of the ancients -> templars, the hidden ones -> assassin brotherhood
