I don't think this ever got made but there was a famous DC pitch called "J" which was inspired by the German film "M." Joker commits a truly heinous crime which makes Batman and the Gotham PD come down even harder on the rest of Gotham's criminals. This makes the rest of villains team-up to track down and capture the Joker so he's brought to justice.

If I was a DC Comics editor and Frank Miller walked into my office saying "hey, I've got an idea for a Wonder Woman story..." I would throw him out before he could even finish the sentence. I think everybody knows no good could ever come from such a pitch.

Not mentioned in the video is that Superman 2000 would have used Mxyzptlk to Mephisto away Clark and Lois's wedding among some other stuff I wasn't a fan of. So I'm not sorry it didn't happen.

Moore's career after leaving D.C. could have gone better, but I can't decide who to blame. There is some greatness in most of his later works.

@@DeathWatch-jh3yx Sienkiewicz couldn't handle the workload so he quit the book after issue 2 and its art duties were given to his assistant, Al Columbia. Columbia, who wasn't even 20 years old at the time, just couldn't handle the pressure. What happened next is not completely known beyond crazy rumors and speculation, but suffice to say no more issues were published. Although photocopies of a fully lettered issue 3 were eventually found and are out there on the internet. It's honestly all a much more interesting story then Big Numbers itself was, I'd recommend looking it up.

WB sucks Literally WB makes their own mistakes then blames others and the stupid fans believe them. 🙄🤦🏽‍♂️😤 they hired Snyder then botched all of his ideas and movies except MoS. Countless controversies with the cast after Josstice League, blaming The Rock for not being in a couple seconds cameo for Shazam 2. What about the crappy CGI they had? Snyder wanted MoS2 then a solo Batman movie. WB wanted to shoehorn the trinity & Doomsday. Snyder made BvS but WB botched it so Snyder’s cut was the original & cleared up the plot. Josstice League sucked. ZSJL is how is was originally supposed to come out. Again WB is blaming other for their own faults. It’s somehow The Rocks fault Shazam2 did bad bc he wasn’t in the cameo? 😂🙄🤦🏽‍♂️ I LOVE DC & the Snyderverse & the cast but WB SUCKS! Their animated movies are better bc WB doesn’t micromanage them.

This is EXACTLY how I feel about the Dark Knight Returns. Plus when it comes to Killing Joke, there are better Alan Moore comics AND better Joker stories out there. The best thing to come from killing joke ended up being Oracle, and that was absolutely unintended.

Way to be disrespectful and call Frank Miller a nut job. Without him you wouldn't have amazing comics like Sin City or my favorite Daredevil run he did which brought the character back to its glory. So WhatCulture I do believe you own this great man an apology.
