The thing about Joker not using the knowledge that Batman is Bruce Wayne, its not that he doesnt use it to his advantage, its that he would never tell the world. He would keep the secret to his deathbed because he knows Bruce would stop being Batman and thats the last thing Joker wants.

Nostalgia Critic talked about this in his review of the future Batman show where joker returned. I can't remember the name but it's a flashback on how joker died and he talks about it possibly being the best joker death ever. I give it a high regard but in short he tortures Robin who eventually spills his guts. Instead of using this info he instead teases batman and only uses his real name once. Cause he's only known Batman before then and that's what he's used to.

Little known fact, Batman's first Bat Toys was from Santa. Also, there is one Superhero who has his own licensing rights: Booster Gold.

The way marketing rights works they have to be owned by a person or company(aka a revolving door of people). The reason Batman and Superman can't own their own rights is cause they would have to show who they really were to then claim those rights. I guess technically Bruce Wayne would own Batman's marketing rights instead of Batman but after he's revealed himself it's pretty much the same thing.

Yeah Joker says that she's not the first Harley, but it's the Joker, he's the least reliable narrator since Humbert Humbert.

I tend to believe him here. Thing is, he's looking for a Joker version of Robin. It's also a classic comedy duo thing: the straight, sophisticated clown + the fool. And when she doesn't fill that role anymore, it's exit stage left.

On the marketing thing: There was an episode of BtAS where a guy build a casino in the image of The Joker. He knew that Joker would destroy it and he could collect the insurance on it.

My theory on the Santa one : Santa’s power is fueled by people who believe/ think about him . Kids don’t start believing/thinking about Santa til around November so he doesn’t have powers till around Christmas and he feels bad he couldn’t use his powers to help fight crime save people etc so on Christmas he makes up for it by giving presents

I feel like the concept of other Harley Quinns before Harleen Quinzell has potential as a storyline

Joker doesn't care about Bruce Wayne, that isn't hogwash. He knows who is close to and important to Batman and uses it to torture Batman and others, but he's indifferent to Bruce's main identity.

There's something darkly hilarious about a near-omnipotent galactic tyrant choosing to spend one day a year fucking with someone random so much that he basically ruins their life. Especially since there's no reason given. I have to wonder if it's like some sort of fucked up Christmas parallel from his home world or something because it's way too deliberate to be for no reason yet so inexplicable that it ends up being hilarious.

I feel like Santa IS protecting humanity from world-ending events, but nobody knows about them. This implies that Santa is so powerful that non of the other superhuman characters know about the threats he's fighting and WINNING against.

That’s it’s own separate continuity though ffs it’s a self contained mini series 😂 it neither confirms nor denies whether Harley has the same status in other universes, including the main line of comics. Joker is always portrayed as a liar and manipulator anyway so it’s more likely he lied to Harley just to keep her disoriented

Originally he was just an African-American from Florida with ichthyosis, and "Killer Croc" was his stage name at a circus as a strong-man/freak. Hush then infected him with a virus that made him mutate into a more reptilian form, similar to Marvel's Lizard. This was before "New 52" so what he is now is anyone's guess.

One of my favorite implications from the lack of licensing is that in the Marvel comics, there is a TV movie about Morbius.

I remember a Marvel "What The?!?" X'mas story by John Byrne where Dr. Doom had to substitute for Santa on Christmas Eve! Its a hilarious read.

The Santa Claus thing isn't really that bad. You just have to realize that he's a spirit of Christmas or something like that and that's his main focus. He can't use his powers and abilities for dealing with everything. It's the same for many of the other 'higher beings and spirits' in the universe who have their own place.

Well in Marvel and DC you can pretty much get super powers almost no problem so if someone were determined enough (as long as they weren’t concerned with disfiguring themselves and/or ruining the rest of their life) could get an arsenal of superpowers. After the Death of the Family story, and during really, it seemed pretty obvious Joker knew who everyone was... they try having some plot twist at the end that Joker didn't, only for Bats to be oh so surprised in a later story that Joker knows who he is... I guess it wasn't worth going to Arkham and showing Joker his card as Bruce Wayne after all! Then the Three Joker story tries the plot twist where Bats has known Joker's identity since two weeks after encountering him :P

What if all the plot armor in the MCU is caused by invisible superspeed Santa and Christmas is just his day off?

One that always bothered me was when Sauron revealed that he'd killed Karl Lykos' (they were dissociative, for those who are unaware) wife, since it was implied that she was pregnant when last we saw her. This means that he either killed his genetic child, or killed the woman carrying his genetic child, for no other reason than to break Lykos so as to be in full control of their body.

I think the Joker keeps his knowledge of Batman's identity to himself because if other supervillains knew it, they would try to take advantage, and if there's one thing you can count on from Joker, it's that _he_ needs to be the one to kill Bats

I like how the first entry on this list is basically that Gothamites are so used to terrorism, they reference their most fearsome terrorists in fast food establishments.

So the multiple harley quinn thing even by comic standards doesn't make sense for them to have actually all existed throughout time. Joker himself is NOT that old to have groomed THAT many women into following him without any knowing about the other(especially for the corpses to be that decayed). The more twisted truth is he likely dug up bodies and put those outfits on them to screw with Harley's head, break her mind and make her fold under him again

Pretty sure it's any lady that's with Killer Croc who's in for a wild ride.

Tails doll was designed to infiltrate the Knothole FFs (Freedom Fighters) base. It was made so that Cream the Rabbit, or one of the other members of the team would pick it up to return it, and then get into the Knothole FFs base. TL;DR Tails Doll was for infiltration, using Cream to get into Sonic's base, or another kid for other bases.

What if Santa realized the horrible consequences of being a superhero in the literal sense and decided not to do that? Like what if he saw superheroes he personally knew lose things they loved slowly and realized how terrible that actually is. Putting your life and your loved ones lives on the line every time a villains tries to take over simply because you're the town superhero. So instead he decided to instead spread joy rather than safety. He gave the kids something to look forward to year after year and while he didn't punished the bad kids exactly he rewarded the nice kids. This gives them more conscience on their actions and want to be good and not wanna be a villain. Think of all the villains Santa has stopped just by enticing kids to be nice instead of naughty.

Santa might not be able to intervene in non-Christmas related activities even if he wanted to. For example if he tries to intervene he might encounter a force field that keeps him at home.
