Constantine is all skill, no battery. The Fate artefact is all oomph, a giant divinely-ordained spout of magic. It's even more overpowered than it sounds. Thankfully the reality is that Constantine is Chaotic Good and Fate (Nabu) is fanatically Lawful Good. This shit doesn't happen outside of a crisis, 'cuz they'd kill eachother (soul destruction, mind control) if left alone for 30 seconds.

Between DCeased and Injustice, Tom Taylor has shown he is amazing at writing high stakes world/cosmic DC events, especially ones that are elseworlds tales where any character dying is free real estate! Wouldn't be upset if DC keeps him as the main writer for every such elseworlds events henceforth.

I have to imagine that Constantine becoming Dr. Fate made Nabu have to work twice as hard fighting off all the demons constantly targeting Constantine, while Constantine got a lot more options for dealing with his usual problems.

Constantine has been stomping around DC showing he ain't the lowly street magician everyone thinks he is anymore, same with Moon Knight on Marvel and im loving every moment of it

John Constantine... with the powers of Shazam *AND* Doctor Fate... with some of the most powerful magical artifacts in all of fiction... with the approval of some big names in DC... The man has transcended any sense of power... He's like a game character with unlimited hp, unlimited mp, max lv, max stats, and the best items all equipped.

I just love Constantine's snarky and sarcastic attitude towards everybody lol

I got so sad when Jason died.....and this will be the last time we see the classic red hood look for a while....which also makes me sad.

Constantine was once DC's most famous character, and for good reason. Too many fans in my generation have no idea how dope this guy was and still is. It's so badass to see him explode in popularity again

The cw version of Constantine is fantastic, he seems to have the comic book version down 👌🏻 Would love it if they ever go to bring him into the movies if they use that actor because he's too good not to use!

Not really. CW-Constantine, infact the entire New DC version is a watered down version of the superior 'Vertigo' era-Constantine. Vertigo-era still pretty hardcore, because it's a horror-comic, unbound to conventional restrictions that the main DC have.

Constantine has always been one of my favorite characters since books of magic, when it’s shown he’s the only one alive at the end of time He walks into a hell club and everyone stops They know who he is He lets them know they know who he is No one touched him

True. You should know about him. Though his soul was damned, but his heart was noble with a fiery spirit. He might be a bastard in the outside, but he's soft in the inside. He's a hidden humanitarian. Magic is not his true power. His true power is his brain. His brain is a weapon of choice. He always depend on his wits before using weapons, rituals or magic. Magic is his secondary, if you know the original Hellblazer not the 52-New 52. John Constantine is another brainy character like Batman. He is witty, cunning & well-sophisticated. A brilliant tactician & master manipulator, but his methods however are kind of nastier. A real nasty piece of work. That is why he manipulated & fooled Nabu (Dr. Fate) before he'll get the Helmet. And that is why he is my other favorite character after Batman.

@@HighLordoftheBathroom True, I heard of it too. But its quite a mystery how it happened & we all know that the author got it from real life, reasonably. Its quite eerie & dark. Just like the original story books like the Brother's Grimm, Pinnochio, Finding Neverland (Peter Pan), or stories about the Jinn (Genie). All of them before this 1 are all darker due of their experience from true events.

@@donpula6349 According to Alan Moore, Constantine was inspired by The singer sting. The guy Moore met had a trench coat, the red tie etc. Moore even said he looked like the character. So, if a singer was the only inspiration for the character, then this is probably John having come to life😂.
