Completing the vidmasters are, to this day, some of the best memories I’ve ever had in video games. I LOVED running around with that recon armor and the katana chest piece. Good times

Though wouldn't say I enjoyed doing the vidmaster challenges in H3 and H3:ODST in 2012 because I did it for 2 different accounts and chauffeured for 3 times. Fun the first time, tedious the other 4 times. Those were the best days of Halo, sadly those days are gone and are never coming back.

Back when cosmetics were unlocked woth skill instead of money... I loved how in Halo 3 every multiplayer armor unlock was done by getting certain achievements. Shit was good back then.

Honestly I'd say the two rings you get at the end of dark souls 2 should be here. Finishing the base game without sitting at a bonfire for one, then beating it without dying once for the other

Getting the solo flawless achievement for the Shattered Throne dungeon is one of my favorite gaming memories. I struggled hard with that dungeon for weeks, my final run when I actually got the achievement took 8.5 hours. The Pit of Heresy solo flawless was a little more attainable, but the encounter Chamber of Suffering had you stand on a plate out in the middle of a room in front of enemies with cannon-snipers as you were flanked by acolytes and rushed by the super hard hitting melee thrall. Chamber of Suffering definitely lived up to it's name, shit was no joke.

I'd argue PoH is the hardest dungeon to complete solo flawless. The chamber of suffering portion is easily the hardest part if you don't do the duplication glitch. Hell even doing the dupe does not make it easier. It's annoying af to get all the way there and then to get swarmed just to die. 20-30mins down the drain.

I've never done a Dungeon solo. Tho I'm thinking about it, even If only to avoid having to do LFG. I do have a clear on both Pit and Grasp of Avarice tho. Both for exotic quests.

I've completed every dungeon in the game solo flawlessly on my hunter, except pit of heresy, where I decieded after just a few tries to switch to a warlock and created a build around devour, which made it not only a hundred times easier, but it was actually a lot of fun all of a sudden. and btw warlock is my least played character, so I think everyone can get it done pretty easily. in conclusion tho I think Shattered Trhone is the easiest (and you won't even get a reward for solo flawless), then pit of heresy - but I could actually see it being on par with ST. then in second place Grasp of avarice with Prophecy being the hardest for sure and my personal favourite as well.

I would definitely add the Perfected Envoy Armor from Guild Wars 2. Receiving a Legendary PvE Armor takes some serious dedication. Even after 10 years since release it's super rare to see people wearing it.

I remember one thing that always impressed me as a kid were the gold guns on call of duty 4 modern warfare you had to complete all the challenges for each weapon in the class to get them.

Two minor inaccuracies with Payday2. One-Down means you can only get downed once, as opposed to 3-4 times (I forget exactly) and THEN the next time you go down, you go into custody immediately. (So in essence, you get only two lives, as opposed to four or so) And the immortal mask doesn't require EVERY achievement, (At least any more) it only requires 1000 achievements (Which is still a lot.) But I've gotten the Immortal mask, and don't have One-Down or even the Death Sentence mask XD

Instead of Vauban Prime that, admittedly, is resource heavy, should have put vanilla Equinox in the list, just the fact that you have to farm 2 whole warframes sets of blueprints to build her and, said blueprints drop are random, it can take freaking forever to get her. In my case took me 4 days of intensive farm to get, kinda made me hate her, which is bad because she is really useful for Focus farm.

@@kexaman I have so many Ash parts back from when the manics dropped it. And since I used to go to void to farms some stuff, they dropped it occasionally.

With the introduction of Nightwave, it became much easier to build Vauban Prime as you could now buy Nitan Extract from the new vendor. Digital Extremes explicitly put that into the new shop to get rid of the "you snooze, you loose" situation that players trying to get that item found themselves in.

Wasn’t expecting Vauban Prime or Fatalis up here, but I welcome the surprise. I’ve been playing for years and only recently got Vauban, because even after cracking hundreds of his relics over time, I had almost never gotten his parts to drop. Fatalis was hard, but I don’t think he should he up here. He’s from a game where you can learn monster tells to such a degree that you can pretty much do it with your eyes closed.

You guys forgot Resistance 2 in the list; You become evil sort of like a boss in the end and you unlock Nathan Hales powers. Truly my favorite mission.

Fatalis was a fun fight. Once you learn its gimmick, you can beat it in under 10 minutes. Still a challenge that requires a ton of prep, but a total blast to beat.

I would pick Doom Eternals Ultra Nightmare difficulty. I’ve never completed it and ive played since the game came out. You’re not allowed to die a single time and you get a complete golden skin to flex in multiplayer if you do succeed. See someone with this skin and you need to run…Quickly

The Staff of Greyson from Injustice 2. The reason it’s so unlikely you get it in the multiverse challenges is because it was designed to be randomly unlocked in the legendary multiverse

re-up for Gears 3 here. when i first re-up'd, my game glitched and reset me back to level 1 all the way so i basically had to grind an extra 100 levels. which i gladly did. "just like the Good ol' BAD days"

Some of the revenant skins in MKX, like winning so many tournaments in a row on multiplayer without taking a hit and so on, I unlocked multiple of them and then everyone's game got redone as MKXL and I lost all my save data even though I never bought XL at the time and my disk wasn't XL, I lost all those skins, and some of them I never unlocked

The Djin skin in Uncharted 3 was near impossible. I did soo much in that game, the Djin was the only thing i didnt unlock.

When I was a kid, I had Resident Evil 2 on GameCube, but didn't own a memory card. That prevents you from saving the game. Every single fight was so intense. Left the system running for literally days. I managed to beat the game and was rewarded with a ton of costumes etc... Only to not be able to save it and turn the system off.

I remember getting recon through the challenges, them first few MP game where everyone flipped out after seeing recon armour was great !

Also I would say a fully upgraded Relic Weapon from FFXI. Those use to take years to complete.

I wonder if Lamborghini being a tractor manufacturer had anything to do with the tractor in GTA.

I remember back when I was a teen playing Gears 2 and running in to a stacked team of wings player I immediately knew my team and I were gonna get destroyed. It just meant being level 100 but back then being a kid playing, I always saw players like that being super good.

I would've loved to are the Zuk slayer helm on this list. You have to complete every grandmaster combat achievement on old school RuneScape to get it

You could make a whole top 10 old school RuneScape about this topic. Whole basis of the game is flexing

The Warframe one is not like actually like that. If you are old enough player you probably has hundred thousands all those materials. But the thing is. You can buy basically anything in the in-game store, primes included. One more suitable Warframe could be Grendel. To get him you need to do a lot of arbitrations (high level missions) to get Vitus Essence to trade with a Npc for 3 "keys" for special missions to get 3 parts of Grendel. Those missions are specially hard because none of your mods, auras for Warframe and weapons has effect. So you are basically really downgraded. You need to find 3 players to make this easier (finding them is a challenge by its own because no one do those missions) and use some specific Warframe to make this easier. When you complete all 3 missions you get the blueprints to start crafting Grendel... But this can be avoided by itself just buying Grendel in the store too so...

The peacekeeper skins in warfare are a decent show of skill IMO. Each class has it’s own version and they require thousands of specific kills (both PvP and PvE) and requirements to unlock them. Seeing one in a PVP match could be a problem for you and your team most of the time.

A list of unlocks I’ll never get. I love it!

A full set of Fatalis with maxed armor and everything legitimately took me 3 months of straight runs, specifically because of the Eye. It's a super rare drop and you need more than just one, and considering if your timing is off even just a microsecond he can Rick roll you on a hit even with maxed armor, full attack resistance and max bonuses, perfect gems ect. You see what I mean, a lot of solo mindless grinding with I think a grand total of 27 defeats and well over 100 tries

Getting all 3 marks of excelence on a tank in World of tanks is also a big flex. You need to be pretty good to get even 2, but for 3 you need to master the tank. And the better the tank is, the harder this gets because its compared with how well other players are doing with the same tank. Not to mention you need to play 100 games with that tank to even get a chance at the first mark.

Lol I got the one down skull mask from pd2 and yea it was insane to get. Hours and hours of grind and adding random players who good. Maps like goat sim were insane to complete

Fighting the elder dragon makes you the ultimate legend Fighting it multiple times makes you the ultimate show off

In Dark Souls taking out the first boss the first time you see him gets his demon Hammer. Heavy as a train and just as strong.

I've done that before, just take the black firebombs as your starting gift and roll around the arena easy peezy.

I got a recon helmet and some of the armor pieces from killing a bungie employee. Something I never thought I would get... popped up and afterwards I noticed (a month or so later) I had some recon armor. I got SO many messages about it in the matches, because iirc you got the achievement named "bite the hand' by killing a bungie employee or someone who had it. but I killed an actual bungie employee and sadly the videos gone now, but having that recon armor, that really made me play more xD

I really wish we could get another Vidmaster like challenge but naur, 343 would rather make you pay for everything. I absolutely loved the numerous attempts of firefight where someone would always happen to disconnect a few waves before getting the achievement.

Getting the inconceivable achievement in gears 4 was the fight of my life! Major bragging rights in my opinion. Especially doing it solo

Vauban Prime? Didn't realize I had acquired something so prestigious until now. Thanks for recognizing me for doing something that I thought was just a little tedious.

5 hours to beat the 4 player Halo level. It was fun and I miss things like that

On Halo 3, getting the General 5 stars rank wasnt easy as well. The fact you need to win 5000 games (without double xp events) is insane and takes 3-6 months playing 8 hours per day depending on your W/L ratio.

In Assassins Creed they used to have competitive multiplayer from Brotherhood to Black Flag. In Assassin's creed 3 however, they had a unique medallion that you could equip to your character if you made it in the top 100 ranked of any gamemode. I earned mine playing Assassinate. (Free for all)

Loved the recon armor, didn’t impress anyone so once I learned about it via vid master I got it. Terribly awesome times with some of my buddies!

When you have no friends who play MH so had to solo fatalis, only beat it *once* and never again so just plunder bladed it to oblivion. Same for behemoth and ex behemoth. "cries in pure agony remembering"

For number 2 I'd like to argue that Arch Tempered Velkhana is stronger than Fatalis but yeah Fatalis is still rough

7:40 I do remember when I first started to play the game. A friend of mine showed it to me. He told me to look through the warframes so we can start to grind for one and me, not knowing anything about the game, took Khora... He told me to pick a different one XD Since I am not getting carried anymore (yeah... starting a game getting constantly carried was not the best idear... it is much harder if u are playing on your own...) I am not really playing the game but since my friend told me to pick a warframe to farm, I am farming to get Khora... one day...

Also, the weapons from the division 2 raids. Like eagle bearer. That. Was brutal.

I earned the recon Armour for playing in an event some of the bungie team put together that was super fun, it was just lots of different player created games, but the one that stuck out the most to me was called "duck hunt" I think

I got my Recon armour from Bungie from the Bungie vs World event. Still did the Vidmasters too.

I got the Recon armor for beating a team of bungie employees. I felt so accomplished. I did the bud master challenges for my cousin and it was so fun.

Bruh for warfare it's definitely Excalibur prime I think it's like under 300 players who have it also nice mention is the developer gave certain clans the ability to give in game cash for joining them for being there snice year one

Everquest (the OG days), within the first year of a new server any caster with an Oracle Robe, or Paladin with a Soulfire which had one of the only weapon visuals (it was on fire)... "Griffendoork is now inspecting you." "Agathorn is now inspecting you." "Bilbo is now inspecting you." etc..

Me and my friends till this day haven’t finished our last Halo 3 mission for recon armor 😂. Iron skull, plus legendary, plus a squad of middle schoolers at the time just didn’t cut it 😂. To our credit we were stuck on the last mission of Halo 3 and were halfway through but we had a cursed checkpoint so there was almost no way to complete it without starting over so we earned Recon in our hearts 💀🥲

I remember trying to complete one of the Vid-Master Achievements for ODST. It was the last Achievement I needed to 100% ODST. I needed to complete the "highway" mission near the end with the Iron Skull and 4 player Co-Op. We never were able to get it because after an hour or two of trying, other people had to quit playing for the evening and we never could end up having the time to attempt it again. I ended up moving to an area that has Satellite internet so multiplayer/co-op gameplay is next to impossible so I was never able to get it. To this day, it's the only Achievement on ODST I never managed to get.

Funniest thing about Vauban prime is that the resources aren't all crazy in terms of frames. Actually it's the easy part... getting the blueprints thought is a completely different beast which is the hard part. And most new payers won't even be able to get it since it's most likely vaulted aka none accessible anymore

I think the information they have on Warframe is out of date too, Nitain is super easy to get after the release of Nightwave three years ago.

Visionmaker set from (early) Tera was also a show off "unlock"

As a Gears 3 player who got to 400 I can say that your level was not the bragging rights. it was your emblem that was tied to doing the various things in a game and had multiple ranks for each one. And just about everything you could do in the game there was an emblem tied to it

All the grandmaster challenges in Old School Runescape. That is what we call a grind. Getting the skills even to do it is a long grind and then you need some real set of skills yourself. That challenges dwarfs 50% of this entire list.

I don't know what was harder, Understanding the title or watching this video.

I love that they were talking about smash bros melee but used ultimate gameplay a few times lol

To be honest Prime equipment in general is a prestige point just as much as it is a performance boost, though I'd more accurately say the truly most amazing unlock you get for being a badass/completionist at Warframe is at Mastery Rank 30 where you unlock the ability to apply boosts to players visiting relays AND have your presence announced.

I'll never forget the day I was able to make item sorters without a redstone guide on KZread

The new dungeon in d2 is so much harder to solo flawless but all of the solo flawless dungeons are pretty good shows of skill

I hacked the bungie server and unlocked recon armor for myself.. I took a month long ban and my gamer zone was "Cheater" for like 2 years but they couldn't undownload the armor lol. It was worth it..

I think the most badass thing I got was the social distancing dark ops challenge in Call of Duty: Cold War zombies. It requires you to get to round 20 without being hit by a zombie, I proudly display that on my calling card showcase.
