he hasn't read a lot of these. gold kryptonite doesn't kill superman it just takes his powers away for good. also superman wasn't being brain washed in trinity war. the atom at the time just stuck kryptonite into his brain which was slowly killing him.also rules of kryptonite. kryptonite only works against the superman of that universe. though it can be used to the same works as a drug for universe 3 superman or ultraman as he states himself

But maybe he meant the Injustice: Gods Among Us comics which is based on the game. Maybe, the Joker did kill Lois, the unborn baby and Jimmy and he didn't trick Superman to kill her and their unborn baby.

Superman was never forced to kill Joker in the Injustice comics, he made that choice.

Not Zod or Doomsday

Missed a lot of details with the Injustice Louis Lane death. Superman was the one to kill her after he got fear gassed with a mix of kryptonite, thinking she was Doomsday, and tackled her into space. She was also pregnant, and had a timer so if she died, a nuclear bomb would wipe out most of Metropolis. Just saying, a lot of context is important for this stuff to understand the situation and character a bit more.

Getting the Injustice story wrong wouldn't be so bad except they got it right in an earlier list. Also, Superman doesn't really die at the end of "Whatever Happened to the Man Of Tomorrow", the ending shows that he's Lois Lane's husband, left without his powers by the Gold Kryptonite (which is what it does).

Also that particular number he made wasn't exactly correct either. I'm pretty sure when superman scanned the Kryptonian Dino, he couldn't find a pulse or a heartbeat so he assumed it was some sort of machine. Something along the lines of that. Anyways my point is, he did put thought into it

Ameer Salim Yeah, I thought so even before I saw that deleted scene. They don't die. I always assumed that pit lead to a dungeon or cell in the Fortress of Solitude, as they always had trap doors that lead to those in comic book castles. Also Zod's hand was merely broken, not crushed beyond repair

There's a deleted scene from Superman 2 in which Zod and his buddies are recovered alive, and then actually arrested by State Troopers and bundled into squad cars, handcuffed and humiliated. Despite being in Antarctica, for some reason there are State Troopers. Just.... go with it.

Joker didn't kill Lois Lane in Injustice. He put a nuclear bomb in metropolis and operated Lois, making that the moment her heart stopped, metropolis exploded. He combined kryptonite with fear toxin and exposed sups to it. When superman saw Lois lane, he thought it was Doomsday and took her to space. Boom!

Finally! He did the 'American Way' part of his title. Killing!

Just one thing - what the Joker does to Superman in Injustice is way, way, WAY darker than just shooting Lois. He lured Lois and Jimmy somewhere with rumors of a potential scoop, shot Jimmy Olsen right through the lense of his camera, then kidnapped Lois. When Superman, courtesy of his super senses found her, Joker and Harley in a submarine, he of course tried to save her, but the sub was filled with a mixture of kryptonite and Scarecrow's fear gas, making Superman believe Lois was Doomsday . Supes, doing as he does and trying to save everyone from Doomsday grabs Fake-Doomsday aka Lois and rushes into space with him. That's when the effects of the fear gas wears off and he realizes that he just killed his wife and his unborn child. And to top all that. the Joker implanted a trigger into Lois that would go off when her heart stops beating. And since being carried into outer space tends to kill ordinary mortals without super powers or protective gear, the trigger activates and detonates a nuke hidden in Metropolis, obliterating the city. That's pretty fucked up if you ask me. And he didn't kill him during his trial, but during an interrogation by Batman where the Joker reveals that he did all that just because he was bored of loosing to Batman again and again and decided to go for an easier target ... that target being Superman.

I don't believe humanity (along wth mutants in case of Marvel) has such a luxury as believing in redemption. Don't get me wrong, I don't promote Punisher's or Azrael's way of solving problems as the only right. I just think, that some dogs need to be put down. And why do you even bring Darth Vader here? He is not evil in comic books terms, not even close. What's more funny, if he survived confrontation with emperor, he had a good chance to get death penalty by Republic court.

Fun fact about #1: Zod's female general, Zaora, actually begged for Superman to save him by saying that she'd be willing to be his sex slave. Only thing Supes does is watch on while shedding a tear. That's... pretty messed up, and shows just how desperate she was to stay alive.

I really enjoy Superman, but to those who say he hasn't killed before clearly have no idea about his history or character.

The Joker death in Injustice was way more complex than that. Joker infected Supes with Kryptonite infected gas, making him think Lois was Doomsday, so he flew her into space, and she had a pacemaker attached so if she died, a nuke would go off in Metropolis . . . obviously she died, and Metropolis blew.
