The Diaz brothers are so beloved because of their authenticity. In the social media age we live in, public personas are highly curated and superficial, in an effort to create the perfect image. Diaz is as real as it gets, flaws and all, and that resonates with people who are tired of all of the fake and inauthentic people that reach the highest levels of fame nowadays.

I go train with the Diaz brothers a couple times a year. They are really good guys. They are the same off camera as they are on camera. It's rare to find real people like that anymore. They are both legends of the sport and I got nothing but love and respect for those guys

I still think Nate didnt want to steal edwards title shot. He could finish him in that 5th, but decide to spare him knowing he was almost over with the ufc, and Leon was the next title contender. Thats why he was acting like the winner when Buffer announced the score cards. If he thought he blew his chance to win,i think he would had been disappointed and frustraded. I really think that was the most unselfish moment in ufc history

Nick was the strike force welterweight champion with 3 (might be 4, cant remember) title defenses.

Diaz looked at the ref when Pellegrino tapped to make sure the ref saw it, classy move. Great job on the video as always Diaz will be missed for sure, or perhaps he makes a comeback who knows.

In the shamrock fight, he was constantly taunting, showboating, throwing the peace sign/victory V, and the like. Frank Shakrock def had this type of charisma at times, but never seemed as popular or well known, due to his promotional affiliations and the slightly less mainstream following to MMA at the times.

Nate was awesome to watch. And he wasn't all ripped and tough looking compared to a lot of those guys! I'm glad he beat McGregor..I despise that mick and his cocky mouth! Yeah Diaz!!😅
