Did you make this final bit of a video with a snow storm on purpose to show the reality of living over there or was it done by chance? I'm guessing for many it's gonna be a major turnoff from moving there lol

Unfortunately we have snow in Canada, I think most people expect that we will have some weather throughout the year!

It's a university town, and you will have no problems finding friends. The biggest issue for international students, besides housing, is dressing warm. Dress in layers, and be prepared for temperatures to vary by as much as 10 degrees in one day. The weather is always changing. Good protection from rain and sleet, and waterproof boots are also essential. And, a thousand welcomes! xx :)

OMG...Please give correct information...First of all there are 3 Maritime provinces not 4...there are 4 Atlantic provinces. Also the coldest temperature ever recorded in Halifax in -27C, not -40C. It is extremely rare for Halifax to experience such cold temperatures. In fact, Halifax has the second mildest climate in Canada...second only to southern BC. To state there is Halifax proper and some little areas surrounding...very dismissive and inaccurate.

Halifax is the worst city. No parking, confusing roads, horrible transit system, expensive. Don’t waste your time or money here.
