I used to wear t-shirts and jeans as an overweight guy. Once I lost all the excess weight, I had to replace my wardrobe. I bought shirts and sweaters. Also nice sneakers (I am 21, go easy on me) gave me a nice look. I started getting compliments both from men and women. I started to observe that their look has changed. That gave me confidence. Thanks to everybody who had an effort on this channel, you helped me to better myself.

@@jesussilva269 Target a calorie deficit and find ways you can to maintain it. That's essentially it. Work out more (cardio) and be aware of what you eat. Building muscle is probably also something you want to do, because even if it doesn't help much with losing weight (you'll actually lose less as muscle also has mass). Also use a calorie tracking app, because relying on your intuition isn't likely to work (that's how you got there, after all). Remember that weight loss is a long process, it took you years/decades to put on and maintain that weight so don't expect to lose it in a week.

@@nonome4553 Over the past years I've learned, that it can be your looks, it can be your lack of confidence, or the way you talk and what you talk about with girls. But mainly it is the approach. You have to approach girls and talk to them. Get to feel comfortable doing this. I struggle with this daily and I realised, that I don't really have a lot of female friends, because I never friendzoned any of them. Wearing nice clothing might help a bit and show that you're aware of how you look, but it doesn't automatically give you a girlfriend. While I'm writing this, I haven't had any successful relationship since around 3-4 years, but I have been on many dates, doing the same mistakes of talking about serious things over and over again. So good luck mate and start talking to girls IN PERSON!

Oh, it was terrible. And they’re a family with money so I’m sure it was not a cheap scent. I don’t know what it was but occasionally, being out, I will pick up that scent on a random passer by and it just brings back memories . Obviously not fond memories. Seeing how many of my peers dress, it's not hard to pull this off either. Basically coordinate a sport coat, optional waistcoat, trousers (dress pants or chinos work well), hat, pocket square, shoes, shirt and neckwear and you're all good to go. This look leaves a lot of room for personalization, and tells people you care enough to look smart without going over the top with formality. Maybe I'm not the best for following the latter point, given I wear a stroller with all the optional accessories once a week lol. I think another important thing, especially for the special woman in your life, is to listen to their feedback about what outfits they like the most and pleasantly surprise them. I'd also like to strengthen the point about wearing something she picked out for you, especially for dates or special events. The former shows that you listen to her, and the latter shows that you respect what she chose for you and care enough to work it into your outfits. If you can incorporate both of them, that's even better! My gf hates the look of bowler hats, striped morning trousers and evening wear, so I find myself wearing a lot of suits and sport coat combinations around her which she greatly appreciates. My indigo three-piece suit, which is my least favourite suit, is my gf's favourite, and she gets excited when it comes out of the closet. I gave her a promise ring, and she gave me a set of cufflinks, so I make sure to wear them as often as possible. We hadn't seen each other in-person for awhile, so I went up to see her for a week. Wore that suit with those cufflinks and she was beaming. She didn't need to say anything to me, her reaction said it all :)

When you combine something classy but yet easy with yourself and you feel confident and the style looks like it belongs on you, thats a A+. I have talked to people that try to hard and looks automaticly really stiff and out of character.

As former law enforcement one important consideration when getting your suit tailored, and it does need to be properly tailored, is for it to accommodate your off duty carry weapon. Selecting the right weapon to carry is its own subject, but an unsightly weapon bulge under a jacket will make anyone nervous, speciously a date. Every tailor worth their salt I have gone too has had no problem making the alterations in my suits for my concealed carry, and the really good tailors will have you practice drawing the weapon (empty of course) to ensure a clean movement in the suit with no hang ups. A good tailor is a must, an excellent tailor is a treasure to be cherished. You never what to intimidate a lady, but its nice to be able to protect them should the need arise.

To be honest, a lot of people have absolutely no idea when it comes to stylish menswear. I once wore an absolutely cruel piece of clothing to college just for fun and still got some sincere compliments by female friends of mine for that. It was a jacket from the 80's or 90's from my uncle that I had found on the attic. It was terribly baggy and had an almost disgustingly checked pattern of light yellow and grey.

Yeah, unsuspecting people think just the jacket makes you appear very casual/classy or even formal. It's strange. I used to do what you did, except go to thrift stores and buy whatever I thought was a good deal. I still have those jackets but several of them I couldn't figure out how to wear them, even though I haven't taken them out to even look at them and try them out, see, with how I like to dress now. It's just that we're different people. I mean every 5 years you're a different person.

Just because you like fitted basic clothing, it doesn't mean that every thing other than that looks bad. I really like vintage jackets and pants. And I like wide clothes because slim clothes just look too average. If I wear a skinny jeans and a tight white T-Shirt, nobody notices my style. However, if I wear wide pants and an oversized shirt but still wear good-looking shoes and match them, people more likely think that I'm stylish because I don't dress like every other guy

This reminds me of a time I took my lady out to dinner. We went to a nice sushi restaurant, not overtly fancy but still very nice. As my lady and I were waiting on our food, we noticed a couple come in. It seemed like it was their first date. Both looked like to be in their forties. The woman dressed to impress, definatly her best, she looked stunning with a pearl necklace, shimmering dress, nice mid heals, and lovely jewlery to make the evening. The man, however, was a shame to look at. He wore a jersey shirt, cargo shorts, sandles, a cap that he did not take off, and a pair of sports sunglasses. Forgive me, they both looked to be on the bigger side, but woman looked so elegant with what she wore it didn't matter. The clothes the man wore emphasized his slob appearance. Now, not only did he look nasty, his restaurant demeanor was horrible. It is a sushi restaurant, and as he was ordering he was already complaining about how he did not want to eat any raw food, it must be cooked. The man was so loud we could hear him from the back. The woman visibly looked embarrassed. I felt absolutely terrible for the poor woman. I severely hope that was her last date with the man. During their date, there was silence. No conversation, she looked down on her food while he poked his meal not knowing what he was looking at. I got so angry just looking at the lack of care this man put for his date. I won't say clothes make the man, but it really helps.

I've learned how to perfectly iron men's shirts from a rich man. It' a skill in your tool box, learn it, because well ironed clothes make them look more expensive and you look more put together, like you (or someone else) care for yourself. Showing self care means you may know how to care for your loved ones. It's the same when you see a well mannered, kind person, you're attracted to them, and it has nothing to do with wealth. My grandfather was a poor metalworker and he looked like a lord on sunday, just because he had a decent pair of shoes and a well preserved coat.

I can't provide a link, but, some years ago there was a study to find out what articles of men's clothing women found attractive. Number one was a kilt! My wife concurs. Fortunately, I do have a family tartan, but, alas, the colors are not my best. Pocket squares and ties, especially bow ties, are a handy way for men to introduce a note of expression and color. Although I have to go back a few decades to my days as a bachelor, there is nothing quite like the feeling you get when a woman reaches forward and unties your bow tie with a deft yank at the loose end. It is a singular experience.

Nice seeing in the comments people around my age (20s) who also appreciate this more classical way of dressing I am a guy who really loves wearing sweaters, always loved classical jackets and am very interested in suits, always dressing properly for each occasion; it will help me flash out my personality, something that can't be done with branded t-shirts - that I don't wear anymore for the most part For the time being, I live in a very hot city, but I'm moving out soon and am looking forward to live my style Thank you for the very informative and pleasant videos!

Don’t forget to smile, you might be the best biggest tough guy on the planet but if a female smiles at you and you just smile back that’s the easiest way to make her like you

Could you do a video on leather biker jackets? They are classic after all, from the 1950's! Thanks

I find those silly because they're originally and functionally for bikers. You know, like, they give off a poser attitude and look to those who aren't bikers, see.

This isn't about you though. It's about what women love men to wear. Additionally, people don't have to be bikers to wear them. Like you don't have to be in the navy to wear peacoats, or be a tennis player to wear a Polo shirt, see.

Right, I apologise I didn't consider that, see. I don't know what women like but if I had to form a conclusion, it's what they frown upon that you shouldn't wear if you're trying to impress them, see.

I’m enjoying the channel. I lean more toward casual preppy/outdoorsy, so this channel is a bit much for my day-to-day life. Just wanted to say that I usually don’t care much for your suit choices, but the one you detail here is excellent!

I'm 19, and I started dressing in vintage dresses and petticoats ever since the age of 10 (I am female). If you are ridiculed for your styles, take it as a pinch of salt, as those with whom have no style or sense, are those who ridicule others for a dapper appearance. And I love the way you are starting now, as it is a very attractive thing to adopt! 😁
