Went to Mombasa as a young man back in 1974. As a sailor I have been to many places but Kenya had to be one of the greatest places I had the pleasure of visiting. Have not made it back yet but still hoping too. I hold Kenya close to my heart, and I love the people.

Wonderful Video. I had an interview at a Kenya high commission but didn't know much about kenya. It is a magnificent place and the people are beautiful. I hope to visit this beautiful place one day.

"Ugali looks soooooo good!" That in itself is proof that he's never tried it. Lol. It's incredibly bland and starchy. It's supposed to accompany stews and meats as a staple like white rice.

I have spent a lot of time in Kenya. Many meals I have had contain ugali, rice or potato and chapati. Very carb heavy diet.

As a somali I loved being in Kenya my time there was amazing. One of the most gorgeous places on earth stunning landscapes and wildlife.

My home just overlooks the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya,FAM...everyday when I was a child we'd get out with my mama and watch the reflections of Lake Natron in the sky...Lake Natron is in the neighboring country of Tanzania...during the day we'd also get a clear look of the Snow capped Mt.Kilimanjaro... And best of all we didn't have to pay to watch the wildebeests migrating into TZ...we could watch it all from our house... Just so you know,my home is in Narok County,Kenya...and it borders Tanzania to the North and that's why we could get such beautiful views of the scenery even in Tanzania...long live Kenya!!Long live Africa!!Proud to be Kenyan...are you proud of your roots?God bless you guys!! Correction on the number of tribes in Kenya,Leroy mentioned over 70...sorry but we got only 44 known tribes...the excess are maybe sub-tribes thank you

Hi man, tnx 4 the video. Ugali is great! (for Kenyans), especially with nyamachoma (grilled meat) and sukumawiki (kale). But for a foreigner, am not sure you would instantly love it, as it is typically maize meal. You would have to check it out yourself (takes about 10 mins. to cook). Karibu!

All these statements are true about Kenya. It is such an amazing country, Unfortunately because of corruption and greed by the political class not so many Kenyans are proud and happy about their country me being one of them. Corruption has created a great disconnect between the haves and the have-nots. Almost half of the population live below the poverty line which is really disheartening

Nice video keep it up. Please could we have more videos like this and less on India and Pakistan and their celebrities. Want to know more about the world and all its beautiful cultures.

As an Actual Kenyan, let me make one correction. Ugali is NOT made from several types of flour ... Only maize flour is used.

I would rate "ugali " 9.5/10. I take this meal like each and every day. its the best meal i know.

Trumblebee it's meant to be taken with stew and/or vegetables which gives it taste. Just like plain old rice isn't much till you add accompaniments

The highest I have ever been IS in Nairobi, Kenya, in Nov of 2019! As the white man from Cleveland, I was afraid of the tropical sunshine.
