Narcissist AND THERE MINIONS! Minions can be worse than the narcissist. Why? People may not pay attention to the narcissist but they will often listen to their monkeys.

Yes because they believe the majority. They think if multiple people say things it must be true, even though people know that rumours can be just mean and false

And most importantly, DON'T WAIT! They're not going to change. They won't learn by example. They wont be inspired by your loyalty. They'll never grow to respect others boundaries etc. It's all just a waste of time and energy.

I spend too much of my life defending myself against my narcissist daughter and mother. It's predictable and frequent. I haven't learned the skills to completely disregard it and still get upset and defensive. I go no contact then get sucked back in...thank you for your support and guidance! I'm working actively every day to be healthy...

When my former partner discarded me he tried smearing as well. He failed because I was open to all relevant people, my family, my friends , my colleagues and my boss. I told them that we split and that he may want to smear me. He failed in the then obvious attempt to smear me. I counsel you on being open. If you want to hide something, be sure the narcissist will use this against you. Good luck and have faith in you!

My own rule is to ignore it, take notes and names, and go about my life UNTIL it becomes legally actionable. Slander, libel and defamation = legal issues for them and compensation for me. That's a win.

Remain grounded and know you are supported. Walk as though you have an army behind you. These people are absolute cowards. Your energy alone can make them not mess with you. If you can get them completely out of your orbit, then great. If not, focus on creating your own life and routine, make friends, get support here, and follow your higher calling in life. Surely you got goals to fulfil and I know it isn't wasting time with these jerks. Much love to you

@nicole I don’t have friends either but Quran the speech of our creator is with us , get a copy of Quran in English language, read it with open heart and mind ask God to guide you and protect you from devils then you will see the truth and life becomes much easier , and with difficulty you find strength to cope and you feel at ease.

@@wolfesound Each person's situation is unique to them. I have found that knowing myself to be very helpful. They are attempting to manipulate events around me to trigger what they perceive as weak areas. I have been able to avoid issues by recognizing these efforts for what they are. There are many avenues on KZread that I use to help as well. From comedians to advice & guidance outside my normal comfort zones. For me. I found it helpful to consider the differences, in the things I "think" I know & what someone who "does" know. It always educated me & has taught me to avoid making assumptions. Which has helped me reduce my tendency to exaggerate or mislead my thoughts. Making situations worse for me mentally. Hope this helps.

Steps to crush smear campaigns : (pretty much paraphrasing here) • Push back firmly but calmly • Got nothing to prove ( the narcissist is trying only to win & you lose ) • Show flying monkeys 🐒🐒🐒🐒 kindness for a while (they're going to the cool click) • Stay professional • Cut out common links (activities etc.) • Stay focused on other aspects of your life ( narc only want your attention ) • Block on social media • Point out their actions to their flying monkeys 🐒🐒🐒🐒 (create rift drive wedge between them and narcissist but careful with this tactic, pointing out when narc was unethical to them ...) • Stay close to friends (support system, updating them always & how affecting you) • Wait for perfect moments (to them it's a complex game ; want person out of life not looking to win *I add* play the silly game) keep emotions and feelings as far as possible be kind to "agents" be patient.

Not reacting can also become a smear campaign. They’ll spread rumors that your a psycho because your so cold 🥶 at reacting etc. etc. so it goes both ways but long term it is better than letting them have it for sure. 👍

This is not always the case You see my husband is very smart man. He knows that when women get together usually they get together to kinda trash their husbands a little bit.😂 yes we really do this throw a little shades at their faults, That being said, but my husband does is he puts me up on a pedestal real high, and he tries to show people how very much he’s in love with me and how he’ll go to the end of the earth to do stuff for me he’ll even buy plane tickets for me and my friends to go away even though I don’t want to so then they start to think he’s a great guy. All great stuff he does for her. And then my friend starts maybe I’m the one who pushing too hard

I subscribed! Good videos by this channel! My husband is having hard time dealing with 92 year old heavily grandiose narcissistic boss that also happens to be his stepfather. He is super dumb and hates my husband guts. Unfortunately leaving the business is not an option. And the 92 yo narcissist needs the business to feed his ego. And he knows that my husband is the only person that can operate the business, and I suspect that’s why he hates him and he wants to destroy him. I’m wondering if it’s any way to trick the narcissist to stop his hate?

Na Ja.. I work with someone with narcisistic tendencies... I think. The fact is that yesterday I told the boss about my struggles with the person in cause and not only the boss sided with her but the biggest flying monkey from all kept shut and when she speaked was to badmouth me and today the colleagues that had a late shift with the "person in cause" tottaly ignored me and some gave me some strange looks. I think the smear campaign is fully in work. I quit that job but I must be there for the next 13 weeks. What do I do??? I'm not a strong person, I left a narcisist husband after more than a decade. I feel weak, emotional, and anxiety levels are really high right now.

Keep gathering evidence, make copies at different safe locations, tell a trusted person to keep copies, and stick to the facts. Let your lawyer handle it, while you help them with info, weak points and know your rights by reading the penal code related to your case. Do not rely on lawyer to the point of not educating yourself but don't irritate your lawyer either :) Stay absolutely calm, stoic even, and do not show fear.

my bf's narc ex smears me to him! Her flying monkeys ( adult daughter) join in ( they have never even met me) She triangulates by trying to get my ex's mother on her side or find out info about us. I am sure she is trying to sabotage us. Yet she was the one who kept discarding him for years. Then as soon as we got together she suddenly wants him. My bf doesn't see her game . She doesn't say anything directly to me so I am unable to defend myself. My bf blocked her as she was messaging him everytime she knew we were together ( 15 times one day) or late at night. Blocking her caused her to involve a flying monkey ( adult daughter) to attack my bf saying I was a control freak. Projection ? Any advice? .
