10 Signs Your Body Is Begging For Omega-3

Evidence-based: www.healthnormal.com/omega-3-...
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that our bodies cannot produce on their own and must be obtained through our diet or supplements.
These fatty acids play a crucial role in maintaining our overall health, including brain function, heart health, and immune system function.
However, despite the importance of omega-3s, many people may not be consuming enough of them in their diet, which can lead to a deficiency.
In this video, we will discuss the signs and symptoms of omega-3 deficiency, which can help you identify if you are lacking in this important nutrient and take steps to improve your intake.

    The issue I have with these symptoms are that many seem to overlap with issues such as insulin resistance, gut microbiome issues such as SIBO, thyroid issues, kidney issues, liver issues. When the same symptoms can be used for the majority of these issues, there is no longer a validity towards that specific problem. You are no closer to figuring the source of the problem. And now with videos saying high LDL levels are not always signature of cardiac issues and such, it is difficult to determine what to believe. It used to be that we had a hard enough time find information but with the internet, I at least find we get too much information to determine what is correct.

    Agreed, there are studies of patients with Familial Hyper Cholesterolemia who have no more atherosclerosis than the general population. More research is clearly needed. However after excluding high iron levels, Ferretin levels are highly correlated to atherosclerosis as an indicator of oxidative stress, you won’t hear about it because there isn’t a drug to reduce it.

    One can literally buy a 10 Euro supplement and see if there's improvement. I started supplementing Omega 3 and after 3 days I already noticed extreme dry skin and skin discolouration problems that were plaguing me for years improving. Long before that I was tested for insulin resistance and it came out negative.

    *Livestock mob-grazed on diverse ('weedy') pasture have more Omega3s, and in a better ratio to Omega 6 fatty acids in the products, including eggs, milk, and meats.* You need to include that in future videos. Look up the data if you doubt it. People need to know so they can push markets to carry mob grazed on diverse pasture.. This is different from 'grass-fed,' as grass fed can be hay or straight grass. It is important to specify mob grazed as livestock that are mob grazed will eat more diverse food than thru other methods. If livestock have a more diverse diet, the added nutrition shows up in their products. Mob grazing is when there are high stocking numbers in a small area. This means the livestock are reverting to wild herd behaviour and will eat more variety. Before the livestock can overgraze, they are then moved to another area to graze. This keeps them eating the nutritious, upper green, leafy part of the plants, and avoiding woody, hard-to-digest stems. Eating the low-nutrition, low-calorie stems also stimulates the growth of the bacteria that produce methane, to break down the indigestible bits. Areas that are mob grazed/well managed also produce more feed per acre per year than conventionally ag-managed areas do. It's a triple win...

  • @b_uppy

    @b_uppy

    11 ай бұрын

    @@multitablez7825 You are poorly informed about grass fed/grass finished. Agree 💯% that grain fed is harmful to digestive systems of cattle and other ruminants (as well as members of the equine family in certain cases). 'Grass fed/grass finished' is different from mob-grazed on diverse pasture. Some farmers and ranchers feed a low-diversity diet, such as grain, or grass only, instead of letting them do a mob grazing on diverse pasture. All livestock need access to diverse pasture, and most need only be mob grazed (pigs and poultry would need other feeds as well). Mob grazing on diverse pasture creates healthier livestock. They get the nutritional diversity they need on diverse livestock, with much less need for medical/therapeutic inputs than cattle raised on low diversity diets. That said reread my original commentto get fuller context now... These health benefits experienced by the livestock are passed onto their products.

    @@hostiles1 Other than eating fish or taking straight algae-based EPA & DHA supplements, ALA will need to be converted in the body. Walnuts, flax, and chia seeds are excellent sources of ALA, but not EPA/DHA directly. Just don't consume them with foods that are high in omega-6 fats, so the body can convert the ALA to EPA/DHA. If you combine the ALA with high omega-6 (LA) fats, the conversion won't happen. I'm a nutritionist...I know this to be true. Best wishes :)
