Hi Delonda! If someone is on a tight budget and is near an IKEA, they sell a 98’ roll of drawing paper that can be used instead of butcher paper and it’s only $5. I found it near the kids’ decorated rooms. It’s called MALA drawing paper.

Those tape dispensers that cut the tape into small strips works like magic for the lather rolls and the it will work with the smaller rolls like circuits rolls. It comes with both large and small inserts. Love mine. Mine says Echomerx on the side and I got it on Amazon. Best purchase ever.

Thanks for all this much needed information. Infusible ink is what I will start out with since I don’t want to invest in sublimation printer at this time. What heat press would you recommend for someone who only make shirts for family and friends?

That's awesome! If you are only making shirts for family and friends, I still suggest getting a 15 x 15. The HTVRONT Auto Heat Press is reasonably priced.

Yes! You don't need a printer at all. The ink is in the box.

Thank you very much for this video. Last year, I shut down my DTG/DTF business. All of the maintenance and nuances hot to be toooo much. Not I'm looking into sublimation. I'm not happy about not having white ink, but 🤷🏾‍♀️. My previous customers hated white tees. Would you recommend all over sublimation or using a hack on cotton?

That's hard to say. If your customers don't prefer white, I think DTF transfers are the way to go.

Love this!! I love infusible ink! I have to be sure not to use thin letters because I find it hard to weed. I used infusible ink on a square cricut coaster and the letters at the end were blurred. Do you know what cause thus? Wow....didn't know I can use a mini press!❤

what would you recommend is a favorable sublimation printer? I presently have an Epson but may need buy new one?????

Alot of people in my Facebook group have the Epson ET 2800 model (the first two digits are 28..)

Hi there and yes. You would just need to keep it still. But since you have a 15 x 15, you wouldn't need to worry about using a mini press.

I sublimate on cotton, i just use spray bright before hand

Is there a difference between butcher paper and teflon sheets or just personal preference?

Great question! Butcher paper protects your heat press from getting any ink on it. It is meant to be used one time and thrown away. Teflon is used over and over again. It is mostly used with heat transfer vinyl.

I have a question so I have A sub sublimation paper 8 by 11 and I want to do this memorial all over shirt could I do that or is it best to get the 13 x 19 A sublimation paper? I hope you understand where I’m coming from. lol

Would you say then that the best printer to purchase is the Epson Ecotank 1500?

If you are referring to Infusible Ink, you don't need a printer at all. The ink is in the box and the Cricut will cut it.

ANYONE have an idea what to do when your printer starts only printing green/blues... I have icc colors downloaded specifically for my printer and ink and it worked for a year and now everything prints out in those colors. can't figure it out!!

You may have clogs. Check Angie Holden’s very detailed video on sublimation printer problems. That may be helpful to you.

You can do a power clean,I had that same problem but it turned out the printer had decided to give up the sublimating ghost

Definitely butcher paper. I only use parchment with htv.
