Dear Anna, I must say I have a point to make regarding the fur topic. Of course we should stop producing fur products. I am very much against buying new fur. However, in my opinion it's important to think further about how we treat animals in general. If a fur coat is passed down from let's say my grandmother to me, it would be more unethical and wasteful to not wear the coat. I think it we can show our respect to the animals who already died for the coat (sometimes not even) in a greater way and wear the garments. Instead of letting them rot on clothing racks, we should wear them proudly. Get them tailored to fit better even. In these ways we really respect the animals we so much love.

Too many obvious logos splashed all over you and you may as well be walking around with a sign saying, “nouveau rich,” written on your forehead.

Growing up in a very comfortable family household, we couldn't give two licks about high end fashion. We are more interested in investing our money, compound interest is our two favorite words!!! Please don't go into debt to look rich, in the end it doesn't work and you have a mountain of bills to pay for. Save your money, invest what you can and live within your means! There's pride in being your best self, respect for your fellow person, kindness , politeness and a work ethic is what l was taught as a child.

I am 50 and retired so I understand the younger crowd wanting to dress to impress. As for me - Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, DKNY - maybe that's too old lady for some women here. I just want to emphasize Anna's point in finding your own style. Shop the designers who work for you. Quit being so trendy. Think in terms of looking your best which means - classic not "classy"

Take a look at Bree Van de Kamp from "Desperate Housewives" for instance. I never really noticed her owning designer items and walking with everything designer from head to toe. Yet, she was THEE classiest out of the whole friend group. It was about the way she walked, talked and presented herself that made her look elegant. *You really don't need millions to look elegant. When buying luxury, avoid trends. There are piece that become tacky. The general idea is stop following influencers and start curating your own personal style. When you are making a point of trying to show people your financial status or for some people poor spending habits it looks cringy. The clothes should never wear you. I recommend vintage rather than trends and pieces that are classic. I would rather someone ask me wear that piece is from, luxury houses make enough money from us already.

I recently watched your “this Morning” interview of 3 years ago. It’s pretty clear to me that the woman that interviewed you did not understand your message at all. I also think she might of been a little jealous. Take note of how she also ignored the gentleman that stated that she also improved her looks and that she didn’t look like that when they met. I think she ignored him because she was basically discouraging you for changing your appearance for men. Which we both know is not the case. I don’t want my son growing up in a world where young people aspire to have this as their “career”. Walking human advertisements for brands for free loading, excess and greed. These things would normally only be worn by people who could actually afford it, plus it wouldn’t be plastered all over Instagram for young people to believe this is normal and how people should be living?! Love #2 - wearing that clothing logo out front. I would like to say that, when this "fad" first came into being, it was big simultaneously to when a fabulous comic strip captured my heart, "Calvin and Hobbes" - in one strip, Calvin sits with Hobbes, watching the sunset and pondering, "Why on earth would I PAY a manufacturer to wear an item of clothing that was only free advertising for them?" I agreed then, and I agree now. My body is not an advertising billboard and I avoid them. (I'm also a little uncomfortable wearing a 'destination' tee shirt as well, but I'm also over 40, and one that prefers solid colors, so there's that.) Thank you.

My opinion on fur coats is different. My relative gifted me a couple of her fur coats (she lives in Greece, so she doesn't wear them). Those fur coats are old (in excellent condition though), the animals were killed a very long time ago. I can't revive those animals if throw away those coats, or just keep in my closet. So I don't think it is unethical to wear furs that you already have. Or to take old furs and make a new modern-looking item. I don't want it to be wasted.

Perfectly said. I can say from personal experience that many T-shirts with logos on the front are usually the "cheap" items that you can get from a designer, other times it's just a brand signature to have a loud logo in any item they make. Good taste will always make a good image rather than a collection of brand names. Just because something is expensive and from a big brand doesn't mean it's beautiful or even tasteful
