Hi Vanessa, this lesson for me is simply amazing. I've been learning English for 3 years starting as beginner, now I'm at intermediate level, I'd like to push up my level and this is the kind of information useful to me, because as I started to listen to more advanced conversations, I found troubles in reductions. I believe this video gonna be a routine for many days: super useful! Warm regards from Italy :)

Hi Vanessa, thank you for your wonderfull lessons. Your reduction symbols were very helpful to understand how they actually sound. your/yer (Simple as that?), our/r( I doubted at first, but it sure sounds that way!) , his/is (Wow, it's a be-verb!), that/thet (I've never thought of [thet] !), to/t (There's not even a syllable here!), going to/unna ( Yes, I hear "I'm unna" in dramas all the time! How could I not notice?) especially helped me get the 'feeling' of it. The hardest one is your/yer. I can pronounce it alright, but when I come across in sentences, I have a sort of a mental block to pronounce 'yer' for 'your' probably because I think of the meaning instead of the sound. I guess it's going to take some time, but I try. Well, thanks a lot!

This lesson was extremely helpful, engaging and beautiful just like any other Vanessa's English lesson. She's so kind, patient and friendly while explaining different things in a very detailed, understandable way. Knowing super common English reductions is truly important for having a better understanding of the spoken language in daily life, I know it is difficult to grasp at first glance but with a lot of regular practice it will become easier than we usually expect over time. I'm nearly the advanced level of English and my language ability is still increasing. Thank you so much as always for your wonderful English lessons Vanessa, I love you as well as them ❤😊. I also love the enchanting English-speaking world.
